They blew up the Kingdome in Seattle to build CenturyLink and it opened in 2002. Heinz Field opened in 2001
And neither are billion dollar stadiums. Now read what I wrote again in reference to those 2 stadiums:

Seattle, and Pitt stand above the rest that I've been to due their location.
Furthermore, the Superdome has undergone hundreds of millions in renovations recently. Basically, we've put as much money into the dome as it cost to build Heinz and CenturyLink

I think you'll be surprised how quickly Gayle's people are gonna turn on us. The lease is up in 8 years and the demands will be high. Hopefully our brilliant leaders have the foresight to start preparing. I wouldn't hold your breath though.
Look, I don't think she's going to be given the opportunity to move the team even if she wanted to with the way Benson will set it up. Trusts are going to run it. Furthermore, you have no reason to believe she will ever even want to move the team.
There isn't much reason to fear for the future of the franchise in New Orleans. And, like I said, if they had to fund a new stadium, it would be done via a hotel tax. You shouldn't spend $1+ billion on a stadium to get a super bowl
Plus, you're forgetting that they own the Pelicans, Champions Square, and Benson Tower too.

Seems like his wife will move the team to San Antonio
You realize Gayle is from NOLA and has no ties to San Antonio whatsoever right?
