Since 2006 I have never seen a o-line that CSP put out on the field be any less than the very best he could produce to protect the franchise. That franchise being future HoF QB Drew Brees of course.

Whatever the issue with Peat, you draft a player at 1-13 to contribute immediately.

Peat has been taking first team reps at right guard, second team reps at right tackle.

Yeah I just watched his interview. That's encouraging.

In OTAs this rotating means little. It's just a starting point to see where guys mights fit.

Since Strief is the incumbent he gets first crack at his spot. It's always been this way under Payton. Rookies and young players need to work their way up.

This. See, I could actually forgive him if it was lack of talent. But to be a first round talent and show up to your million dollar job 30 pounds overweight and out of shape? Pardon me if I'm not excited about him finally not being a fat arse. It shows a serious lack of motivation to arrive for this job in that condition.

Where was he 30 pounds overweight? He had a rough first day or 2 then was just fine the rest of camp then into the season.

He was also doing school related stuff at Stanford

He didn't take over the NFL but the guy didn't have a bad rookie year at all. I don't get why some people are just looking for something to complain about him.
