Yeah pretty much. I had Desir and Martin as my most likely picks because I really didn't see Baptiste falling to us. Had he been gone I think it would have been a tougher decision between Martin and Desir and I think Martin would have won out.

Call me crazy, but I still want Desir, in addition to our new stud SJB.

Can't have enough corners with injuries and age right around the corner, no pun intended.

Not gonna lie, despite having enough pass rushers and corners it isn't a bad thing to take more, but I really think we need to address the traditional LB position and look at a center. There's still room for corner in there too but there's also next year.

If we picked him in the 4th, I wouldn't complain.

I could see us going Desir but I honestly expect Skov or a center

We actually have 4 safeties and I think 8 corners at the moment. Maybe 9?

Tackle is set, but we have 4 guys at C/G and none of them are true centers. But I think we pick up Goodwin after the draft whether we pick a center or not.

Either way we'll be fine, but we definitely don't need another corner over something like a LB or C(even if I would like to pick up Desir).

To me this is where we should go complete BPA regardless of position. I would be happy to pick up Matavius Bryant or Desir because they look like they have the potential to become starters one day. I don't see that out of the remaining centers. I'd rather hedge our bets that either Baptiste or Desir work out than take a player just to have a body.

I have no problem with taking another WR or CB, but we can't fit anymore projects with the guys we already have. It's a numbers game. No one left at CB or WR is likely to beat out the top 5 or 6 we have at those spots.

I can see Desir maybe, but it could be a wasted pick at an overloaded spot.

I understand what you're saying about overload but I see opportunity for either position in the near future. Meach and Morgan are both on one year deals and Toon is right behind them. Colston is still very good but in 2 years cost vs. effectiveness may make him disposable. Cornerback is more crowded but Bailey is getting older and Robinson only has one year left on his contract. Desir could be insurance for SJB or part of a three man unit with SJB and Lewis.

I would prefer to take chances on boom or bust prospects at other positions because we are so deep but I don't see many.

Well the traditional LB pool is about to get deep. And now is the perfect time to take a shot on a C.

That's 2 of our 4 remaining picks. The other 2 can be used on whoever they feel has the best chance to make the roster and honestly I'm not seeing many spots left no matter what positions we go with. We are just so deep almost everywhere.

Some good flyer positions could be:

HB(upgrade over Cadet; Ingram is a FA next year and Thomas is getting older)

TE(look for a blocking TE that won't claim to be a WR in 4 years; Watson getting old)

OT(upgrade over Harris/Jones though unlikely)

C/G(shallow depth but that changes if we draft a C/G and/or sign Goodwin; eventual Grubbs replacement)

NT/Big DE(could use another guy to make the 53 here as Tom Johnson walked; eventual Bunkley replacement)

Pass Rushing OLB/DE(may lose Butler and Galette next year and Jordan only has 2 years left)

S(only have 4 though I think that's all that make the 53 given our corner depth)

K(if there's one worth taking)
