I was afraid this would happen if the Saints played Bridgewater with a poor offensive line. Afraid that he would play poorly, and that would cost the Saints in trade value. It is my opinion that the Saints next QB will be Taysom Hill. Trade Bridgewater for whatever you can get before he becomes a free agent. Hopefully Brees plays a few more years, but if not I would go with Hill for sixteen games and see how it shakes out. Jeff Duncan who sees every practice and flies with the team thinks Hill is the next QB. It's very difficult to find a championship QB. They're no guarantees the Saints will find one as quickly as the fan base will hope. I believe Hill will be given a full season to win, or lose the job. It will be a different offense with Hill, but remember Sean Payton is the QB whisperer.

My only complaint was consistently holding the ball too long.

Tank his market value and re-sign him in FA on the cheap. 4-D chess, bitches!

You can’t trade him, you don’t own him when the season ends

Taysom Hill is not the next QB

At least get informed before you try to share any hot takes...

I should’ve stopped right there, but you said this next:

And that’s where you really lost me.

Bridgewater is Saints property with trade value. The season is not over. I am not sure when he becomes a unrestricted free agent.

There’s this thing called a trade deadline. And it has passed.

After this season is over.

He has no trade value.

You think we can trade him to the Titans so they don't have to start Gabbert tonight?

I agree that Hill has a shot to be the next Saints QB, but you're really making yourself look like a dumbass with comments like this.

Well, if I am wrong, then it was premium price the Saints paid for Teddy. Hopefully I am wrong and the Saints resign Teddy and he becomes a successful QB. His stats with the Vikings are not that impressive.

Most of the time he had as much time as Brees. Bridgwater just couldn’t get the ball out in 2 secs like Brees does.

He held it too long and when he did throw, it was after the WR already made his break and it resulted in contested jump balls.

His timing was off more than it was the line.
