Why didn't we try to trade Keenan Lewis?

surely someone would have given up a 6th or 7th rounder for him? Something else must have been going on for us to just cut him. I can only assume he would have failed the trade physical or else Loomis just doesn't know what he was doing.

You have to pass a physical in order to be traded.

No one will give up trade spots for a guy that will hit free agent market when the saints cut him. He's damaged goods that no one knows how many miles he's got left. Too much of a risk to trade for.

That's not really the issue. It can be done, but your compensation is going to be lower. We traded a 7th for Parys Haralson a few years ago when he lost his starting job.

Hey I'm just lucky. I get paid a damn nice yearly salary, do a good job for my company after two plus decades and still get to post on TD.
