2 touches for 8 yards? That was from a Kat Terrell tweet so I'm not certain if I took her tweet out of context because I didn't watch that hot garbage. I have no idea why he isn't getting touches. It's. It's not like the Saints run the ball all that much so I would imagine Spiller would be the passing back. What a boondoggle. The honeymoon is over with this bunch.

The Saints might be the worst team in the league right now. If they aren't they definitely look like it.

The Seattle vs Pitt game that followed looked much more like a NFL game.

My go to answer is that Chad touches himself. But maybe he had a bad week at practice, or tweaked something on that two yard loss or maybe the coaches thought he was a bad matchup. Nah, I'm still think it's because Chad touches himself.

Like many of our mistakes, it was a bad evaluation of talent.

Spiller at times in his career has looked special. But, most of his career he's been inconsistent and was outplayed out by Fred Jackson.

As it turns out, it wasn't that he was in a system that prevented him from being successful...he really doesn't do a lot of things well. And, as a result, Payton has realized that we are better off without him on the field minus a few specific situations.

i liked the signing but didn't get why they paid him about the same as Ingram.

Ingram had been with the team and had to earn what he got.

Spiller just shows up, tweaks his knee, and then proceeds to hardly ever get used.

We signed him for the same reason we drafted Reggie Bush and signed Darren Sproles.

Yet use him 10% as much. Dumb signing.

i'm starting to think we only brought him in to run the wheel route.

i mean that is has been his money play so far. Don't know if his TD vs. Dallas was on that route or if they just got him mismatched on a LB.

I was expecting an PT/Bush split or even a PT/Sproles/Ingram split.

This is more like an Adrian Peterson/whoever else they have kind of split...

This signing was to try to find a way out of the mistake made in getting rid of Sproles!!!!

They said they didn't expect him to be a real target in FA, and they were surprised he was in reach, so they probably didn't put a lot of thought into it.

money would have been better spent on wr or any position on defense. ingram and khiry were a good combo going into the season.

Spiller missed a lot (if not all) of training camp and the first few weeks, so he started off a little behind. He's also injury prone. We saw what happened to Sproles after a few years of relying on him too much. CSP knows we aren't making a run or anything this year. Don't risk major injury on a lost season. If we get a good offensive lineman and a WR or two and can turn around the defense, we want a healthy full speed Spiller, not a broken down Sproles which is what he was his last year with the Saints. I swear, people have the memory of a gnat and the foresight of a spoiled thirteen year old girl.

That's justifiable in the first month of the season but it's week 12.

We were 4-4 playing against a bad team not too long ago and he got 3 touches that week.

He's a specialty back. He specializes in running out of bounds. He's your man in the 2 minute drill.
