Why did Jermaine Gresham, possibly the best TE available choose Arizona over the Saints? What could Arizona possibly tell him to choose them over one of the best offenses in the league where he would get all the receptions he want? We put a deal on the table and he did not take it. Its no secret we are looking to replace Graham. Who else is out there with our limited cap space that we can afford to catch coming off of the line?

More money. Guaranteed starter and more playing time without having to prove he deserves it. He liked the area more. He feels they have a better chance to win.

How are we supposed to know?

And I don't see us bringing in anyone else. They targeted Gresham specifically. They weren't looking for just any TE.

According to Galette's old lady, Gresham was a homophob and didn't want his locker next to Vaccaro.

Phoenix has some great greens, a lot of former players live there.

I'd also add the fact that AZ knew that we made an offer and probably emphasized the idea that he would be on the field the whole time when they are on offense (outside of breathers); where as, we use a rotation system and he would probably only see 50% of the snaps.

He reads ST on Tigerdroppings and knows Brees is a shell of his former self.

A 1 year deal in NO with Brees throwing to him is infinity better than any deal he signs in Arizona with noodle-armed Palmer throwing the ball.. and Arians' offense do not utilize TEs too much.

He could have collected a huge deal in 2016 after a great year here.

Assuming the money was in the same ballpark (it would really have to be different), this was a terrible decision on his part.

Some guys can't get out of their own way though.

Maybe he doesn't like scoring touchdowns.

Gresham began his career in Cinci with Carson Palmer throwing him the rock. You can do the math

Because the saints straight up suck and you delusional fans expect to be better next year? Give me a break. He's going to Arizona because he has a better shot at winning a superbowl than with New Orleans.

I don't necessarily disagree with this.

I do, however, disagree with this.
