You don't think a guy like Peat or Coleman will benefits from getting reps in game?

Yikes

will throw a "but" in there that a team can have a better draft with the 20th selection than a team with the 5th selection.

Only if the team with the 5th pick drafts a bust

So if you don't want to slide up the draft, why aren't you openly cheering against the Saints?

That's why the Browns are great and the patriots suck.

You are possibly one of the worst posters on this site and really don't deserve a response, but I will humor you. These guys don't tank like some of you would believe. You think Hightower isn't earning a roster spot for next year with the type of performance he's having. Winning against any team, a good performance against any player breeds confidence.

And btw GFY

LMAO! I believe these guys earn their roster spots during the off-season in these things called mini camps, OTA's and then the pre-season. Sean Payton isn't going to sit here and go "Oh gee, well Tim Hightower had 2 TD's against the Jaguars last year so his spot is safe." Next, I clearly said I wasn't rooting for us to lose but that I want Grayson and back ups to start getting some real game time reps. Which as you said yourself helps the team. So how about instead of being a complete and utter fricking moron, you actually stop and think before talking as you know next to nothing of what you speak. FINALLY, please go and ruthlessly frick yourself, champ.

fandom is mostly emotional-irrational, which means that rational analysis does not apply

If you apply strict rationality, it makes no sense to give a rat's arse what any team does or doesn't do (unless, of course, you have money at stake).

It's okay, we all lose arguments from time to time.
