For some reason this organization catches up to fans frustration and things we've been bitching about when its way to late. I really think they draft an LSU player this year

yup

Nobody can convince me those LSu players making impacts could not have helped our shittty defense. Now i am sure some were drafted higher than our positions but what about those who were not?

Yea I am sure the Saints will draft an LSU player this year because some idiots on a message board want them to and not because they are a good fit or a good player.

There are players from a lot of different schools making impacts on defense around the league that could've helped the saints. The New Orleans Saints are in no way affiliated with Louisiana State University. This shite is insane. The falcons drafted Desmond Trufant from Washington with Alec Ogltree from Georgia on the board.

On that note, do you know how many Georgia Bulldogs played for the NFC champion falcons this year? Not the first damn one. Ask falcons/Georgia fans if they give a shite

Either he addressed your point, or you don't actually have a point.

I'm sure he's only saying that every season we can point out a LSU football player on a SuperBowl roster.

People that complain about fans wanting a LSU player on the Saints roster are just as bad as the fans they speak negatively about. It's getting old from both sides, also common sense should say LSU themed website = a strong following of current/former LSU players.

Except this isn't true cause as I said before 3 of the last 4 haven't had one on active roster and the one that did was Brandon Lafell. Brandon Lafell isn't making the Saints a better team. Arizona, Cincinnati, and Philly all have a bunch and didn't make the playoffs this year. Of the 4 teams in the championship weekend, GB had zero, the Steelers have two who have never played a down for them, the Pats have one who only plays special teams, and then of course Atlanta has 3. This idea that the Saints aren't winning because they don't have LSU players is nonsense. On top of that just look at the LSU players who are actually good and could actually help us this year. Beckham, Peterson, Brockers, and Claiborne were all picked before the Saints picked. Whitworth was picked after Roman Harper so hard to complain there. Could've picked Jarvis but had just picked Cooks and a WR would not make us any better. Tyrann needs a change of scenery so its best we didn't take him. Kwon, Debo, and Kevin Minter would've had Joe Vitt as their position coach so good luck with that. Ware had a decent year but he bounced around for a while and Ingram is still a better player. The rest are nothing special and a few are extremely overrated on this site. The Saints have had issues drafting in the past few years but it isn't because they didn't pick LSU players. This narrative is so stupid.

bullshite. They make threads like every day about it and had like 4 today about it.

Is that not why they have a board called the Tiger Rant?

I think the only actual gripe, one you could make a legitimate argument for as a big whiff on an lsu guy, was taking Garrett Grayson in the third round when Danielle Hunter was there. Granted, Hunter wasn't really a polished pash rusher in college and arrived in the NFL extremely raw, he has turned into a good player. That said, Trey Flowers from Arkansas was taken in the 4th round and he's turned into a good player too.

side note, the third round that year produced a few really good players. David Johnson, Tevin Coleman, Danielle Hunter, Matt Jones, Ty Montgomery all went in round 3

The Grayson pick was the organization getting too cute. He was never going to be the QB of the future and they picked him anyway, instead of drafting a guy that could actually upgrade the team with meaningful snaps.

Not only do the Saints not look at quality LSU players but the last time I checked we had only 5 players from the SEC on the 53 man roster. There were several LSU players who would have met areas of need for the Saints. Prime example is wasting a 2 round pick on Stanley Jean Baptiste, who not only couldn't make the team at his position but couldn't make the team on special teams. Landry and Hill were available and would have been a MAJOR upgrade over Baptiste!

Hunter needed a lot of coaching when he got to the league. I don't think the Saints would have been the best place to go.
