Archie without a doubt is #1 on this list. then there is a bunch that fall into the same group, Sam Mills, Rickey Jackson, Morten Andersen, Deuce, Dalton.

Deuce is the most overrated Saint of all time.

Most beloved should be Brees or Archie.

It makes me want to puke for those who say Deuce over Archie, any of the dome patrol, and guys like Willie Roaf and all.

I'm sure it does since you're the most anti-Deuce poster on TD.com.

No love on here for Eric Martin? He's always been up there for me.

RJ is my personal favorite, but Brees could close serious ground if we make a run this year. Never saw Archie, and his handling of the Eli to SD situation made him seem like kind of a douche IMO.

That pic of Deuce just made me cringe. Man I hated to see that sight.

I would have to say Deuce right now, but I feel like it will be Drew when he's done playing.

There is no clear cut answer.
Hoby Brenner is right up there as one of my all time beloved favorites.
Freddie McAfee has got to be thrown a bone here at some point.
Remember it's not the best Saint. Freddie had a lot of love thrown his way.

Mills
Morton
Daulton
Brees
Deuce
Jackson
Archie
....and the winner is:

The DOME PATROL!
Jackson, Mills, Johnson and Swilling!

Archie - for enduring so many sacks, losses and mostly horrible teams (there were a couple of decent years but all in all), year after year - never really complaining and giving it his all against an insurmountable uphill battle...imo

As pathetic as it is, it might be Morton. Really shows how bad the team sucked for so long. I can remember as a kid all the adults saying he was the only good player on the team. A freakin kicker. And everyone LOVED him. Again, a freakin kicker.

All time greatest is Ricky Jackson IMO.
