Anyone that says deuce just shows how short sighted and naive you really are. Deuce was beloved but Rickey and Archie's of the world was on a whole new level.

Too young to see Archie. I loved Rickey, but liked Mills just as much. When RJ went to the 49ers, I cheered for him and was glad he got a chance to get his ring, but I'm not going to say it didn't hurt a little.

BTW, Deuce has bleed Black & Gold, is the all time TD leader of the Saints and all time leading rusher. He runs the Catch22Foundation and is overall a good person from all apperances.

And I hated him at Ole Miss and wasn't thrilled when they picked him, so he had a long way to turn me which he did.

Does he wear Saint bandaids too?

So, the more qualified players are a majority special teams and o-line. Iron head Heyward was maybe more beloved than deuce during that time period...

Oh, why didn't you say so... you got me now. Catch22 /thread.

Deuce is more beloved than Rickey Jackson, IMO. Overall.

shite, Rickey may have been the 3rd most popular Dome Patroller after Mills and Pat Swilling with the fans.

The question is:

Is Rickey the hands down winner or would you say some other saint?

I think it's completely legit to say that it could be another Saint.

Yes.

Well, if Ricky won't pay his child support and Duece steps up to help, it just shows that those kids probably love Duece more.

For me it's Sam Mills and Morten Anderson.

And as a side note...

I thought you were going all nice and shite for a while, Chad. Nothing like some Deuce fans to bring you back to your senses.

Chad's just trying to get some lively off season debate going. I'll give him a pass until he does something really stupid. Which shouldn't be too long.

I bet I could find more people who like Morten Anderson than Archie Manning. I, personally, think Manning is a douche and could care less that he quarterbacked my favorite sports team.

Can't argue with that. I'm still mad at Bum Phillips for trading Archie (Oiler powder blue uni ).
