over Dorsey

I for one wasn't mad at all when Dorsey got picked by KC because I was high on Sed

I know I know...easy to say now

but no doubt KC would like to repick and take Sed over Dorsey

I was happy.

Dorsey was too expensive to trade for anyways.

Also Dorsey should be playing in a 4-3 not a 3-4. KC is stupid.

I'll be honest and say I was a Sed doubter. Not bc I was in love with Dorsey, I just didn't know a lot about him.

I think, as of last year, he's blossomed into a good DT for us and I hope we keep him here.

I will be honest. I wanted Dorsey.

But I'm thrilled that we got Sed now!

ain't much difference between the 2 except Dorsey hasn't been the same since that cheap block by Auburn, look like it took something away from him!

don't know if someone shared it in another thread but this Sed quote after the game got me excited.

[quote]"I don't think we're the team with the target on our backs,'' Ellis said. "They're not gunning for us, we're gunning for them. We're the ones with the scope.'' Read more: LINK ]

I would love for us to still get Dorsey. I don't think he is the flop everyone thinks he is, he is just playing in the wrong system.

I think the system is slightly hindering him, but why would KC take a DT that high in the draft that is going to play in the 'wrong' system for him?

seems like they would have factored that in if it was truly his wrong system

I just wanted one of the two. I was shocked when we were still able to get Ellis. I was ecstatic with the pick

They were running a 4-3 when they drafted Dorsey.

And used him as a 1-tech, which he isn't. He's never been allowed to do what he's best at.

I'm ecstatic with Ellis right now, he really seems to have turned a corner, but let's not act like he's had a great career overall.

this is what shitty franchises do...and there's a reason the same 10 teams are bottom feeders every year

Glenn Dorsey never stood a chance to develop. Those idiots moved him from DT to DE, in a 3-4 nonetheless. Pretty much the most retarded thing you can do. I still think he would flourish in a Gregg Williams system though.

I was stoked about getting Sed. Definitely wanted him over Dorsey.

I think he's played his arse off when healthy. If his health is the knock, then I guess I somewhat agree. We weren't the same team when he was out. Or at least I didn't feel like we were.
