It looked like Cooks had a slight step on Josh Norman and Brees threw a good pass, but it seemed that Cooks wasn't able to spot the ball in the air. Is that what you guys thought had happened? That's what it seemed like to me.

Cooks is not the answer in a situation like that. Even though Coleman dropped a pass the previous play his size would make him a better candidate to catch toss ups. Cooks size cost us the first game in Carolina in the end zone also.

The first part is right, but I didn't see that second part. I saw Brees under throw Cooks and throw toward the sideline, but Cooks had him beat over the top.

So are we really gonna put that on Cooks when he beat the best cb in the game right now? Cooks also got past him for what should have been a td earlier, but Brees also under threw him on that play.

Mad @ Cooks, he coulda at least fought for the ball or at least tried something to bring a flag

That's what happened. Brees went for the safe back shoulder throw. Cooks didn't see it. He probably catches it and steps out of bounds with no problem if he does see it.

retarded answer because there was minimal contact. that was a poorly placed ball, it should have been inside and over the top.

The ball was thrown short, behind him, and towards the sideline. What the hell were you people watching?

Or, he probably scores a game winning td if Brees puts the ball in the end zone.

Hard to do when the ball is off of your route and you can't locate it.

Sure it was. Because back shoulder throw is the correct pass when your guy has the best cb in football beat over the top for a game winning td. Yep, throw it short in that situation. I guess Brees purposefully threw it short to get the PI earlier when Cooks beat Norman right?

It was a poorly thrown ball. I don't think Breeze was trying to throw the "backshoulder throw".
