Become the dominant force he was supposed to be?

Middle of the road and off the team next year?

What happens with this clown?

get a 5 yard gain then beat his chest as if he broke Eric Dickerson's season rushing record

Can we just act like he's a rookie again with no expectations?
Then I can use this phrase:

One and done.

I'm going to put my expectations very low.

90 rushes 423 yards 4.7ypc 4 TDs
14 receptions 115 yards 8.2avg 1TD

0 fumbles

I was actually just glad to see him running with some passion. As long as he's averaging 5ypc he can beat his chest every time as far as I'm concerned.

4.7? You call that a low expectation?
I'd give him about 50 more carries, and 3.7 avg for zero tds and almost no recs.
I put his ceiling at < 550 yds contributing in his final Saints season.
How's that for low expectations?
Khiry, now... That's a whole different story...

Passion has never been in question with Ingram.

Sure it is low, considering the fact that he averaged 4.44ypc after the Dallas game, 6.38 @ Carolina, and 5.21 in the playoffs against two of the better run defenses in the league, I think 4.7 is a reasonable number. Notice, the running game went exponentially better after Armstead came in. I only expect better line play if Armstead and Lelito are improvements

The 'low expectations' is purely on how many carries he'll get due to him splitting time with PT and KR.

He's never had a 0 TD season and if you're going to be taking starter time, you should be able to pass protect and catching some passes out of the backfield.

I honestly don't even think Khiry breaks 800 yards unless Ingram is out of the picture. Even on a normal basis, we have too many RBs to feed, taking sproles out just reduces some carries, but not that much.

Whoaaaaa, don't just cherry pick the games you want for his average. I believe this is 4th season with the team, so how about throwing in all those other games he's had?
I definitely do not believe he will be the starter by opening day. I think he'll be TB #3 behind Thomas and Khiry. Khiry may be the starter, so, yes, I see Ingram mostly out of the picture unless someone gets hurt.
I'm sticking with <550 from him this season. Maybe he'll score a goal line TD or two, I don't know.

Using the word "starter" for RB on this team is worthless.

Very true, but I thin you know what I mean when I say Khiry and Pierre will be the first two guys up and Ingram will be a distant third

No, that's not gonna happen.

It's gonna be Ingram and Khiry, then PT, if we're talking about runs.
PT is getting older, and he can't sustain getting so many runs for a whole season.
He showed that last season.

We'll see about hat. You obviously like Marky a helluva lot more than I do.
Did you read what Bill Parcels told Payton about Khiry? Last time Parcells said something that complimentary about a Saint, the player was JimmyG.
I'll take Khiry on this one.

Dude. It doesn't matter what YOU think. Payton is gonna run the shite out of Ingram.

What does that have to do with anything?

We both agreed that Robinson will be in the top two of runners.

Okay, the whole damn team sucked in the running game to start the year out. He averaged 4.9ypc last year, fyi.

I removed his biggest outlier out of the calculation, which was the dallas game and took his remaining season average which was 4.44. I noted a game where he got more carries than normal (Carolina), and showed he can produce against good competition if he isn't met in the backfield every play like the first what...12 games of the season? I noted the playoff games where we finally excelled in the run game as a unit where he actually had a big part of the game plan (due to PT's injury).

What have we learned since CSP got here? There's no "starter". When Bush was here, he played a ton of snaps just like PT. When Sproles was here, he played in a lot of snaps as well.

You made a thread, I answered it in my opinion. Would you like me to have you bend over and kiss your arse that you're right? Because it ain't happening.
