What do you think the Saints could get for Mark Ingram? (Players or picks)

Should the Saints trade him while his stock is fairly high? What would teams give up for a 29 y.o. RB? Do you think we could get a 2nd rounder this year?

They’re too smart to even consider the notion.

I don’t want to trade Ingram after having his best season ever . Who cares if he’s 29 , he didn’t show any sign of slowing . Until that happens , he and Kamara need to stay together .

Ingram is more valuable than anything anybody would give us for him. Fact.

No.

Depends on the team. We'd have to get at least an early 1st rounder, which no team is willing to give up for a 29 year old RB.

Sure. What do you think we'd draft with that 2nd rounder? A RB?

The Saints are obviously interested in keeping him around long term. He’s had a great attitude about his role in the offense, he could have been one of those guys that makes a big deal about not being the feature back. He’s adequately paid. Plus we traded up to get him, we’ll never get that value back. Worth keeping in my opinion.

I am thinking the OP wants scenarios where we can trade our workhorse Bama RB for some LSU Baws... So I offer you this wet dream scenario for the OP

Mark Ingram and the rights to Roman Harper to the Giants for OBJ and their 1st...use the 1st for Guice

Not sure what I would do with myself if there wasn't at least one "trade Ingram" thread every week.

HAHA exactly. So who is our lead back if Ingram is gone? You willing to risk another Kamara injury and have to put all the rushing responsibility on a RB to be named later?

Why are you worried about one of the aspects of our team that is working at a level most teams can only dream of?

They might be able to get a discounted bag of Halloween candy corn from last year. They could be able to get two marshmallow peeps from this past Easter if they trade him now.

His value is higher than it's ever been. I think we could get a 2nd round pick.
