I'm fine with giving up yards if we limit teams to FG and force turnovers, which is what we did for the majority of last night. THAT's how you win games fellas

D did the same vs Detroit except the last 5 minutes. D also did that vs Cleveland. Those 2 games gonna be the difference between HFA throughout and hosting just round 1.

I've come to the conclusion after Spags tenure, our players aren't really that bright.

T/O Differential:

Overall 27th
13 Giveaways
7 Takeaways

-6

We'd be -5 (still 27th ranked) if someone didn't decide to fumble it at the end of the game...

That's shite water.

We need to start protecting the ball... I'm no math major, but by my calculations that's nearly 2 TOs/game.

I completely agree. We've been our best just running a base defense. Hard to run exotic blitz and coverage packages without Vilma directing traffic

445 a game and still #2 is fricking crazy. I remember being #1 at like 410.

The Colts are slightly ahead of us at 452.5

Next after us is the Steelers at 418. This stuff is close enough where I think we'll bounce in and out of the top spot over the rest of the season.

I'm pretty intruiged by our offensive 3rd down #s. Also... Dallas is converting 55.7%. And I'm pretty sure it was 58ish before that snoozer yesterday. That's pretty nuts.

The offfense is hitting it's stride. The defense is looking a hell of a lot better recently also. If the D can tone down giving up the huge plays then we will be in really good shape going forward. I'm glad that we had an early bye week.
