Jenkins is going to be in the rotation. I don't think he has the stamina to play a big number of snaps right off the bat. Armstead is probably the hardest to project right now as he could come in completely raw and overwhelmed or mentally ready. Needless to say, all 3 will have every opportunity to win the starting job.

Sounds reasonable. If he can come in a rotate in on running downs and eat space for 25-30 plays a game, he's done his job.

Put a cork in the bottle and go to sleep...

Do you really think Jenkins was worth the pick? Who is going to rush the passer? The NFL is a passing league.

It's hard to say if all of them will be starting soon, but if any it has to be Vaccaro. I like the pick in regards to making Harper and Jenkins weary of not looking over their shoulders for competition. Vaccaro should be an upgrade and we will see that in training camp. I predict by the middle of the season in 2013 Vaccaro will be starting for good.

couple more years of this and neglecting the defense for 7 years might be fixed

Nose guard's in 3-4 aren't meant to rush the passer, they're meant to clog up the middle.

Smith is competing at LT. Harris and Jones are competing with Strief at RT(for the moment anyway). I'm sure they'll do some cross training early on and see if they need to adjust that.

This team need a NT to stop the run our division if field with RB

ATL- Steven Jackson
Tampa- Doug Martin & LeGarrette Blount
Carolina- DeAngelo Williams & Jon Stewart & Cam Newton

The way to rush the passer is to make teams 1 dimensional

Those last two haven't sucked in the least. PRob was decent in GW's man scheme(definitely not a zone CB). Jenkins showed promise as a NB(sucks at safety). I'm doubtful but maybe Jenkins and PRob can show something in Ryan's D.

Not going to try to defend Ellis. Ain't no way no how to do so.

He doesn't need to be. Bunkley and Hicks are still the type of NT Ryan likes to use primarily. Jenkins is going to rotate and be a primary run stuffer and play more downs against run heavy teams or when teams are gashing us.

I don't think they drafted him to be a starter. I think they got him to be a very good role player(think Harper in the box). He does one thing well, but he does it extremely well.

Look at the top NTs ont he top defenses

Casey hampton has 9 career sacks in 13 years
Vince Wilfork has 16 sacks in 10 years
BJ Raji has 10 sacks in 5 years

Jay Ratliff has 27 career sacks in 9 years, but far less when the Cowboys moved to a 4-3.
