i hope we go O-line to be honest.

i've hoped for a LB for the longest time but taking a LB that high just doesn't happen anymore really.

Well we really need a cover/speedy LB bad(and it showed this year), but with Evans AND Grubbs tanking that has suddenly become priority one.

Worst line I have ever seen in a Saints uni.

Some mocks have Vic Beasley and Shaq Thompson around 10. Not sure the Saints need to go OL that high either. They obviously need to address it, but is there someone that screams no brainer that will be there around 10?

With the protection this year we can't pass. Doesn't matter if they scream "pick me" or not. Only if a top notch CB or LB is sitting there should we consider that.

If we go any other spot outside of CB, LB, or interior OL then we have fricked up.

we need a player like a Alec Ogletree or Lavonte David.

a playmaking LB... haven't really had one since Vilma first became a Saint.

What if Copper is sitting there at #8 or wherever we're picking?

Scherff, Stanley, and Peat are the guys I've seen people project high a OT/G.

I like Vic Beasley.

LB and Guards typically don't get picked that high.

the Saints picked Chris Naeole though real high several years ago so... you never know.

I am scared to know what Payton would do if Amari is there for our selection...OL's make everyone look better. ATL has been terrible with some great skill players.

I don't really watch college so I couldn't say until I started doing some digging.

Cooper is legit though.

But I agree, Oline needs to be addressed first and foremost. Even if next year ends up being a "rebuilding" year, you start by solidifying the oline.

Amari is going to Oakland unless someone trades up. No way he falls to 9. We are better off losing next week and trading down for more picks. Also, maybe using JG for more picks. Team needs to get younger.

You don't know about Cooper or the OT/G's I listed? Cooper looks like a sure thing in the mold of Julio Jones and AJ Green, although he's 6'1".

I'd be happy as shite if Payton took Cooper. Dude is legit. Besides, do you really trust Payton to pick defense? As far as OL, they have been good at doing that in the later rounds. There's also FA.

I think taking OL at #9 is too high unless it's someone who kills the combine and had an awesome college career.

ETA: And I mean in this draft. Not all-time, obviously there have been many OL worthy of a top 10 pick.

I know Cooper but not the other guys. But we should not be taking a WR in the first.

Look at Cooks and Stills this year. Their production was hurt because Brees never had time to throw. Another receiver is NOT going to help us. We need to fix this line first. Then you will see what we have is good enough to win(on offense).

We need cover guys in general on defense. The "lack" of pass rush was because we allowed quick passes all year. I am sick of hearing about it. Either fix the coverage schemes or get guys that can run them.
