Wasn't as bad as what I have been reading since Friday. Armstead needs to get healthy for one. They need to pick a spot for Peat so he can get settled. The way the defense looked against Pitts' ones was more concerning that did not look much improved to me. 5-11 predictions are a bit much though I say 8-8 with a 10-6 ceiling.

The defense just looked like they were sitting back and not attacking. It was mostly underneath stuff. Didn't care for it.

I don't know Katy Tx- I watched it last night & came away very concerned that this team will not be much better than 5 wins. The Def. leaves a lot to be desired & OL is going to have Brees killed in the backfield by mid-season...

I do think there is a lot of overreaction, but their pay through the preseason is concerning.

I watched every game during the Brooks years so I'll still watch with passion.

Well I'm trying to stay positive. If and it's a big If Armstead gets healthy the line will be good enough for Breese to step up in the pocket he made several throws doing this even after Armstead left. The line can get better. I'm more concerned with what I saw from the pass rush or lack there of when Ben was in the game. I still think this team can win 10 games and maybe that will be good enough for a wild card.

I like Peat's move to LG. The right side of the OL is usually for maulers and peat is soft as shite. Lelito is unathletic but stronger and would fit better at RG. The guards should still be upgrded but the move helps.

Yeah that 1st playoff win was the first time I truly started to feel like a contender.

Please don't remind me of Aaron Brooks. I blame Haslett for sticking with him for so damn long though.

If you'd have said the Billy Joe(s) years, I'd have been more impressed.
