he would have caught that inside the 10 catch that was too tall for watson.

-Higher vertical catch ability
-Wider lateral catch ability
-Better physical match-up against LBs and smaller speed corners

Graham gives you a better edge against traditional defensive alignments, which is really becoming less and less of a thing in the NFL. I like both players in our offense, but to compare them is apples and oranges IMO. Maybe not apples and oranges, but at least mcintosh to granny smith.

No and yes. His stats were inflated in Nola due to our style of play and drew Brees. However he is still one of the top 5 receiving tight ends skill wise.

I heard he was a basketball player. Anyone know anything about this? I'm intrigued.

I'm honestly so excited he's been put out to pasture. He's such a slightly above middle of the road tight end. Drew and CSP made him. And now he is such a bitch. frick him.

Would that make Jimmy a 'Graham'my Smith?

so far this season:

Graham: 21 receptions (27 targets), 204 yards, 2 TDs
Watson: 25 receptions (33 targets), 266 yards, 2 TDs

to be fair, Graham would be doing a lot more in our offense.

Graham had more TDs in the last 3 years than Watson has in 11 seasons.

he's a bit faster in a straight line, can probably jump higher, but yeah, he got those stats because of our offense. he's a good player, but not worth price tag, that's the real reason he's gone.
