Not related in any way. It was the owners who locked out the refs, and it was the owners who had to have emergency meetings with the refs to get a deal done after the Green Bay debacle.

You obviously do not pay attention to detail, nor do you read between the lines here.
Yes, we as Saints fans are now hyper sensitive to all things Roger Godell. This just means we pay much more attention to all the shite spewing forth from his pickle smoocher.
We have recognized him for what he is. A lying arse, power hungry, manipulative arse hat.

So Goodell had more to do with the advance of technology than locking the refs out?

This was what I said in my first post in this thread. Glad you can agree.

Dude get over yourself. You cant argue that Goodell is ultimately responsible for the media explosion and fantasy football and in the same breathe argue that he has nothing to do with the ref lockout.

Saints fans have bruised vaginas because they think he is picking on them

Most Saints fans feel like their team is being railroaded to make it appear that Roger cares about the concussion issues and player safety.

Most Saints fans will admit that there was a program going on. What we won't admit is that it was as bad as the media made it sound.

It's odd to me and many others that no other teams were mentioned in this. And if you believe it doesn't / didn't go on with other teams you are sadly mistaken.

Greg Williams may have wanted them to destroy someone's knee. But they didn't.

Just because a 40 year old QB got up slow after being hit doesn't mean that the Saints were a bunch of puppy stomping barbarians.

The only vaginas I see in this situation are the crying arse people that seem to think that FOOTBALL is some kind of powder puff sport.

I'm not saying he had nothing to do with the lockout. I'm saying the owners had him lock out the refs because they thought they could strongarm them into a more favorable deal. He did what he was told.

But he's still ultimately responsible for the explosion of the NFL right?

So the owners are the ones to blame when something goes wrong? But Roger gets credit for the good stuff. Rationalize on, dude.

And it wasn't the owners appearing onTV and issuing press releases saying that "the replacement refs are doing a heck of a job."

So now you're circling back on yourself? You're a joke and a troll. Goodell is just a puppet of the owners, huh? Maybe its the owners making football popular, not Goodell.

Goodell is the face of the owners and you have the inept trolling skills of a 7 year old.

You're watering down his role in it to that of an inanimate object.

You can say that he is ultimately responsible for both if it makes you feel better, but the fact of the matter is that he followed orders from the owners to get a better deal. It just backfired on them.
