That name looks Russian to me. If we draft him maybe he'll collude with Putin to defeat our division rivals.

No damn way that is a real name. His Momma invented that name trying to out do one of her family members.

Would like to see us take 2 DEs. Go with one at 11 and then take one of these high upside guys a few rounds later.

I wish Buddy Diliberto was still alive just so he would have to try to pronounce that name.

yo Aug, this simple little post inspired my little rant about how long we have been waiting for good defense.

And of the D, waiting for a pass rush has been the key component. At this point I am more than all in for pass rush. Sign free agents, draft more than one, whatever it takes. I wouldn't even mind edge rushers for the first two picks. Remember Carolina drafting Star AND Short 1-2 in 2013? They turned a weakness into a strength. Pass rush has been so weak for so long I'm ready to see all the stops pulled out to get one.

"He produced and certainly has flashes, but he didn't finish nearly well enough in the backfield or as a counter-rush defender. And despite being a senior, he'll need ample work in protecting his chest plate, accelerating after first contact, and playing with the type of motor and tenacity to work through contact and cause NFL-level disruption."

"Too often he loses the point of attack because of poor timing and placement with his hands," Brugler said of Kpassagnon. "He needs to do a better job staying square to dictate the action. He would also benefit by adding some glass to his diet and competing with more of a mean streak."

this screams 4 year project player to me, I wouldn't want him with either of our 3rd picks but maybe if he is still there for our 6th round pick (only because we have no 4th or 5th)

I just see the guy as a bottom of 4th or a 5th round pick because he is a long term project, not just a 1 or 2 year to start kind of guy

the draft hopeful relished the opportunity to receive helpful pointers from Saints defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen.

"He's pretty intense, he's a serious guy," Kpassagnon said of Nielsen in a telephone interview. "He just gave me a lot of advice and the workout went really well. I'm happy."

That might be where he should go(based on his game right now), but you have to overpay for a guy at DE with great size & a huge ceiling. If you really want him...you're going to have to reach a little, b/c a lot of other teams will(especially if they have a bunch of mid round picks.)

Onyemata went in the 4th & played in Canada. I doubt this guy makes it out of the 3rd. Only way I'd take him(with our 2nd 3rd round pick) is if all our 3rd round targets are off the board. I'd rather not draft a project in the 3rd, but he might be the best value at that point.
