Blues

I actually read every word of that and enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks!

Lots of good stuff here but this:

That he might not fit in 4-3 schemes was on his scouting report predraft.
is not true.

We played way more 4 man fronts than 3 man fronts this year. And even last year under Spags he still got 8(?) sacks despite playing in a very poor scheme with not the best players playing next to him(Ellis mostly). Had Hicks played more and got more double teams Jordan may have had even more sacks.

he did play both in college but his projection was best in a 3-4 or a strongside 4-3 DE. Ryan's defenses were quite varied indeed. My bigger point on Jordan is how distinctly better a player can appear when the scheme better fits his skillset.

NO 4 people thought he was the best. 50 other people voted for someone else, that doesn't mean they thought kenny vaccarro was 3rd, hell they could think he was 2nd, or 18th.
Some people just gotta rain on everyone's parade

If you are a glass full kinda guy you could say that everyone else thinks he is the second best rookie.

Not too shabby for a player many didn't want.

I said early I thought Vaccaro was the safest draft choice. Every draft there is a conflicting perspective of, do you draft the best pick available or do you draft the position of most need. Still glad it worked out though, I was glad to see he had an immediate impact.
