He's pissed that we didnt make the trade with cooks because he thinks it had to do with Cooks bonus money. He never mentioned the fact that he first had to sign a tender or work out a deal. Lol

Saints starting roster has 11 drafted players. We can't build a team though FA and undrafted rookies. I know it's win now mode because of Brees. He still has 3 years left. Saints can used 1st 5 picks on defense. Saints D will be much improved. Saints lost 7 games less than 7 pts. Saints lost 3 games when offense scored over 30. Insert some younger and faster players into line up. You will see a better D.

ya well before the cooks trade was actually announced we were getting the #18 pick and trading him to the titans so this is just another unverified rumor like the other 15 unverified rumors about the butler deal.
im completely prepared for it to be 32 for butler simply because I don't thing cooks was worth the 32 "to the pats" and it was just a "pawn ticket" to ensure no other team can match "it" being our offer to trade for butler. so in effect they dealt us the "winning hand" (#32) just in case any other team wanted him.
I am still holding out hope we can get him for just our #42, I really don't see any chance that the pats settling for a 3rd rounder, he is still just too good for them to let him go for that.

He may have to fly back to sign his tender in person. Or maybe wants to discuss it with family before making a final decision.
