We def need a joker that can do that. As is, our jokers aren't versitle enough to even be considered jokers. It's a freaking joke if you ask me.

You must be joking!

I really hope Jenkins can turn into the player at NT that he has the potential to be.

It would go a long way and would help completely change our defense along with a young ILB

Agreed. Hopefully he got the wake up call this offseason & shows up to camp in shape. Both he & Hicks have sky's the limit potential but are not playing up to what they are capable of.

I'm not for moving up, but i'd sure consider it for Fowler at the right price.

this
keep all our picks
trading up is a terrible idea due to the price that you have to pay, if anything trade down and get even more picks

A lot of folks are "gun shy" about trading up but Fowler is a legit Top 5 pick...so that's pretty good value on the scenario.

Like others have said, he won't last to #7.

This top 5 is kina weak IMO compared to years past.

I guess that's a matter of opinion, but I'd say it's equal to most drafts in most areas. It's not loaded with "can't miss" QB prospects, which most drafts aren't, but there's 2 top flight QBs who deserve their high ranking. There's a legit LB in Fowler, 2 legit WRs in Cooper and White and a DT (Williams) who would be a Top 5 prospect in almost any draft.

Chip Kelly goes down as the worst hire in years. Hes already dismantled a team that was one or two pieces away from being real contenders to where they are about to be the joke of the league. Watch what Im telling you, its going to happen.

Anything can happen. Everyone said Star Lotulelei was a top 10 pick. Almost fell right out the 1st round.

All it takes is one team to fall in love with someone ranked lower. What happens if some team says they want Eli Harold more?

He needs to stay healthy. That's his biggest problem so far.

13 and a 2016 2nd would make me think about it because that's not bad for 6 spots

Just seems like the Saints have tossed away enough 2nd rounders lately.

Can't be gun shy because something didn't pan out before. New draft new players new evaluations.

If I had to pick pass rushers this draft Fowler would be my top guy.

Saints with the fewest draft picks of all nfl teams the past few years not no but''''''no no trade up.A good player will be at pick #13th live with it at pick #31st i would be ok say going back to #38th an also pick back up our 4th round pick. Part of me with picks #75th or #78th i would consider a trade down however there is good players in this range not lower than the 85th pick to drop for say a extra 6th only trade up would be with picks #148th an #154th these two move up to the low end of the 4th rd or top of the 5th for the right player.10 picks no less draft picks saints should end up with.

I think we may see a lot of stuff in this draft that the Saints do that shocks us all. Maybe not to this extreme but who knows. With the new philosophy and Ireland now in the mix things may be totally different that's why it is really hard to predict the Saints picks this year.

I've predicted our pick every year since Sean got here and been dead on. (with exception to the PRob year) But this year I just don't know. Things could go so many different ways. Us having so many picks could allow us to move up at any time to take anybody. So I guess what I'm trying to say is nothing is out of the realm of possibility.

If they keep Evans then our biggest needs are Pass rush and ILB.

Perhaps trade up for Fowler, then trade back from 31 to grab another pick and take one of the ILBs in the 2nd. At 31 there are usually teams clamoring to jump back into the first, maybe a run on Gurley/Gordon or the 3rd best QB.
