What do you base this on? He had almost 400 yards last year with half his usual carries, and he looks like a much better back this year. Unless you're insinuating that he's going to miss half the year again...

ETA: Just saw the rest of your post. You're just an LSU fan hating on a Bama guy. Nothing to see here.

Eh, I don't see it man, the Saints pass the ball too much for that to happen and it's going to be a time-share at RB with Khiry and Pierre. Ingram is really going to have to play ball to get even close to that.

Pierre Thomas is the best running back on the Saints roster.

At catching passes and pass protection, yes.

Running? Hell no. I'd argue that Ingram has improved a great bit (so far in pre-season) in the limited pass protection snaps as well

600 yards
8 TDs and I think that is high.

Not much faith.

800 yards, max.

Probably 7-8 td range.

if healthy, his best 3 games will easily get 400 yds.

600/13= less than 47 a game.

Under and under

I'd say 900 rushing yards, and 8 TD's.

I wasn't a huge Ingram fan, but I will say he has looked really good the last 1/4 of the 2013 season and all of training camp and preseason. I think he is ready for a break out year. We will always be a running back by committee kind of team, but he will be the work horse this year. I just don't see 1000 yards rushing and TDs will be spread out between all of our weapons/toys.

I think the switch to the zone blocking scheme will greatly benefit Ingram this year..

I'll go with over on both (1,098 yds and 12 TDs (that's six white chicks))

Yea, never really got the point behind this line of thinking.. I'm one of the biggest LSU fans I know and I will do nothing but root for the guy to do well as a saint... Even if he were to get traded or picked up by another team I'd still probably root for the guy just because he was a saint for 4 or 5 years

Honestly, if I were never an LSU fan and I came to this board (the rant), the majority or y'all over there would make me hate LSU.. I try to stay away from that place

Taking the over over

1250 yards and 13 tds.

He looks like a back who has put it all together and runs with a chip on his shoulder.

He blew up a LB on a pass when he came through the line against Indy... Stood his arse up real quick... I was impressed

16 games:
15 carries a game
4.5 ypc
1080 yards
8 TDs

I don't expect him to carry it 20-25 times a game, but if he's the bulk, I can definitely see him getting 240 carries a year, Khiry and PT splitting 150.

under, Cadet looks like twice the back without the name.

He looks great against third string and depleted defenses though.

Nobody wants to like that Ingram is our best back and has looked good since the end of last year. He has turned the corner. I will Agree he might never get the carries but Ingram from Bama who I hate has played much better as of late.
