Yeah, a 5-6 corner back is really the missing piece for this defense.

Andre Johnson stands a full foot taller than him. Schaub would foam at the mouth.

That's a joke. His football instincts and smarts are top notch. He got busted for simple possession. Janoris Jenkins had 2 possession charges and still ended up a 2nd round pick. It's not unreasonable for him to be a 5th round pick

He obviously wouldn't be your #1 corner. He's be great as a nickel or maybe even a safety

Maze measured 5'8 at the combine. Mathieu easily has an inch on him. 5 foot 9 isn't too small to play corner. Plus slot receivers aren't 6'5

If we can get him for cheap, then yes.

At this point we prolly could get him for a quarter bag of sensimillia and a bag of cheese puffs.

Would never make it through one season. Loose cannon, immature. Use the 5th round on someone else and maybe sign him as a free agent.

The pats will take him, try to fix him, then cut him. Then he's off to the jets and will be sucked into a pointless qb battle.

I think he has a decent chance of being in jail given the intent to distribute thing.

I don't think that's going to stick.

Yeah, no way Mathieu is 5'6. And I like that he's complaining that he can't match up with one of the best WR's in the league when we're talking about drafting him in the 5th round, as if teams frequently target #1 CBs that late.

Honey Bager could step on field tomorrow and be our best DB. A playmaker on D. Something we haven't had since Shatper.

I think he Iis young and dererves a shot. If he fails he will only have his self to blame. Frick TM7 you can do it man. Play 5 years clean. You can retire and smoke all the weed you want.

No way unless he grew up, matured, and had a charater reshaping. Cancerous players are for Oakland.

I'm not arguing against you point here, but the Johnson/Schaub connection isn't why we don't need a short corner. We only play them once every 4 years.

Now, White and Julio are a different story...

damn brett, i was just reading your sig quote... seems like TM7 should sit down with chad jones so chad can tell him exactly what's at stake.. not just the money, but to have a job that requires you to play a GAME that you love and have been playing since you could walk.. tyrann is just pissing his future away and i don't think he realizes it.. i'm sure chad jones would have loved to be in his position, having the world by the balls and having the ability to do whatever you want... TM7 just don't appreciate it
