i haven't been to a ryan's in ten years (none around here) and no i don't watch UFC... i want to be everything you're not 'dro
mostly i hear deke though when he's in his element on the friday night high school postgame. i think northshore when i hear him, definitely not Yat like Buddy D was
now bobby, after the saints win a big game, is EPIC. any other time i'm usually not listening to sports radio
WWL takes too many news breaks, but they have to do that. i can't listen to anyone else because they have too much of a UNO (Trahan) or Tulane (690) stench

well he is from Amite, and technically on the Northshore. But i certainly don't think the way people talk there is indicative of how the rest of the NS talks

The only time that I've ever enjoyed Deke was when he'd get annoyed at Bobby getting wasted on the air.

Jerry V, the hornets color guy had a great afternoon drive sports talk show but i guess he never developed an audience because his show was cancelled after a couple of years. Guy was always prepared, had interesting topics and was a solid interviewer. Much better show than Deke and Bobby

So to go with Bobby you need a straight guy....Kenny was the straight talk guy or radio guy.
You can't have two guys that can't talk hosting a show. Someone has to be the professional radio guy.

The man cannot even pronounce the word "athlete."
It comes out "at-leet."
Bobby cannot pronounce the word "touchdown."
It comes out "tezzh-daa."
I am so tired of hearing "whatcha got", and then when the caller asks his question or "tries" to get his point across, Deke and Bobby just forget someone even called and keep their gums flying 90 miles an hour - and not saying a single damn thing.
Meanwhile, the poor caller can be heard in the background: "Wai...wel...wouldja just....can I...please let....wait... while these 2 yahoos NEVER F--KING SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me Kristian Garic any day of the week...

Deke contract runs out next year. From what I'm hearing it want be renewed WWL rewarded Deke for his work during Katrina.I do agree he needs to concentrate on high school sports.
