My top 5
1. Reggie Bush
2. Marques Colston
3. Jahri Evans
4. Jimmy Graham
5. Cameron Jordan

I really want to put Tracey Porter because of the pick six, but the other guys were too good.

I don't understand the purpose of this thread. You don't list the top 5 draft picks and the list compiled is incomplete.

How could Bush possibly be first?

Colston, Evans, Graham, Strief, Carl Nicks

Look at where they were taken and what kind of production they have had. Bush was a nice piece, but Sproles was better in that role than Bush.

Morstead had his great years just like Evans, Nicks, Colston and Graham did.

What's your criteria for BEST draft pick?

Are you talking about pick value? Overall performance? Stats?

Kind of a loaded question IMO

Then you gotta go

1. Colston
2. Evans
3. Nicks
4. Graham
5. Strief

And Strief could be as high as 3 when all is said and done.

You have to consider what's expected of them and whether they exceeded expectations.

Top Ten Pick: Frequent Pro Bowler
Rest of the first round: Solid starter. Occasional Pro Bowler
2nd round: Decent NFL starter
3rd round: Solid contributor
4th round: Makes roster for a few years
5th round: At least he made the team
6th round: Maybe a few years down the road if we're patient, he'll do something
7th round: Practice squad

agree, good thread idea, shitty presentation, no parameters or criteria

I'd go Colston for value. An almost Mr. Irrelevant becomes the team alltime leader in the major categories, Strief a 7th has manned RT for ten years too.

Jahri is clearly a shadow of his past self but could have a shot at the HOF more than any other

Cooks, Peat, Rankins, Thomas, and Bell have good starts but need more years to evaluate the longterm impact

1. Evans
2. Colston
3. Reggie Bush
4. Mike Thomas (He's going to be a playmaker)
5. Morstead

Top 5 players or top 5 values? That's a different list.

i thought he was listing the first 5 picks of each year but,

makes it confusing. and then he didn't list 5 for each year so...

1. Evans
2. Graham
3. Colston
4. Jordan
5. Strief

My criteria: How they would fair on an all-time list of their peers.
