tom has also played 8 more games than brees, but hey...sure

Brees has had a ton of 5-8, 6-8, 7-8 games where he stat whores it up, ruins our draft standing, etc. etc. Brady is usually in handoff mode by weeks 16-17 to get ready for the bye and the playoffs, since Brady has won 11 division titles to Brees' 3 and has earned 10 bye weeks to Brees' 2 with worse receivers and running backs.

Brees was a top 5 NFL QB for 10 years. He's a first ballot hall of famer. Tom Brady is the greatest football player in the history of the sport.

It's like comparing Dominique Wilkins to Michael Jordan.

Drew Brees 8,035 career pass attempts

So the fact that CSP can't coach defense to save his arse actually helped Drew a bit?

That's something, I guess.

I know you're a troll, but have seen the Saints' defense under Payton?

Let's compare Saints avg defense Pats ag defense.

I bet they are at least 7 spots apart.

Brees has also never played with an All Pro receiver. None of the receivers Drew has EVER played with has made a pro bowl

I won't disagree that Brady is likely the best ever, but let's discuss this as well, though:

Better coach? Brady
Better team? Brady

Brady's first few Super Bowl wins had amazing defenses. Where would you rank Drew all time, mate?

I love Brees just as much as any saints fan, but we all know that Brees will not surpass Brady on the "all time greats" list, ever. Why worry so much about it. Brees is the best thing to ever happen to our team, no matter what Tom Terrific did, does or will do in New England.

I don't base GOAT QB rankings on stats, but with that said I'd have Drew above Marino but behind Elway and Favre. Solidly in the top 10.

Brady
Manning
Montana
Rogers
Elway
Favre
Brees
Marino
Bradshaw

something like that - just did that really quickly. Obviously projecting forward a bit with Rogers as well - if he ended his career tomorrow I'd have Brees above him.

Rodgers should be a spot under Brees or at least no better than equal

Brady may be right alongside Brees by the end of the postseason. It'll be like 2007 when the bounced back with a fierce scoring run. And the playoffs count right? Cause you know the Pats are good for at least two of those and our postseason odds are pretty shitty.

To the Supreme Court?

He can ask for a re-hearing too, but the next appeals step is the SC

Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan is an awful comparison. Did Nique ever carry his team to a title? Did Jordan lose 2 NBA Championships? Did he lose 3 Eastern Finals to the Knicks?

A better comparison is Dr. J and Magic Johnson.

I thought we were in support of Brady's struggle? Being that Goodell also screwed us over?
