Thank you

That's the point I was trying to make. There is no guarantee of drafting a player who contributes or plays well but not even having that opportunity definitely hurt. I don't understand how some can't see that. Pat Swilling is one of the best players to play for organization & he was a 2nd round pick.

Who said those picks had to be DB's only? While that maybe a position of need now, it wasn't a season or two ago.
I understand what you are saying and I agree. That really isn't something the Saints organization had control over though. There's like 50 other things they have/had control over that is causing our team's poor play.

Drew Brees?

wow...

disheartening loss for the Saints faithful and not trying to troll...but many teams in the NFL would love to have Brees under center...i'm a Jags fan...if you guys want to give him to us...we would take him...dude is one of the greats...

Brees played like dog shite and anyone defending out offense has not been watching the games. The oline is the worst since 2006. Payton's play calling was questionable at best, the defense didn't blitz more than a handful of times, the dline looked terrible, the linebackers looked worse, we had Seattle Playoff tackle syndrome, the corners outside of Lewis looked like worse versions of Jason David.

Thank god for Lewis and Byrd and our running backs. Without them we would have lost 80-0.

Graham is now the all time NFL leader in the history of football for drops when facing a hit so frick him and frick all of you who suck his dick daily, Colston couldn't catch water if he fell out of a boat, none of our receivers run short or medium routes anymore or get separation anymore.

When Ingram gets back we should run the ball every single down with Ingram, PT, Cadet, and Robinson for the entire first quarter. Then after we've established the run, we run passes out of singleback and iform. This empty set bullshite has got to go. I think every one of Brees's interceptions comes from that formation. It's fricking infuriating. We were calling picks and in-completions before he snapped the ball yesterday.

I think it's that weak arse training camp we had. All I heard about was the wonderful 65° weather and QBs playing games after practice and ice bucket challenges. Now the season is here and we are soft as shite.

The problem with this team is in the trenches on both sides. Payton has been terrible at drafting. He hit the home run in 2006 and the then after that nothing. He was able to ride that 06 class for a while but that is no longer the case. We keep signing lemons who cash in and then go missing. That trash of a defense is a prime example. We have brought in so many people to help fix that defense I can't even count. From Jason David to Jairus Byrd.

We need a good defensive coordinator that can do something for more than 1 year.

Take a look at who we have on the teams from the draft picks/UDFA:
2007: Meachem, PT (UDFA)
2008: no one
2009: Morstead
2010: PRob, JG, Bush (UDFA), Galette (UDFA)
2011: Jordan, Ingram
2012: Hicks, Toon, White, Jones
2013: Vaccaro, Armstead, Jenkins, Stills, Hill, Lelito, Khiry Robinson

Our picks the last few years have been good, but the players are young as hell and their ceiling isn't as high as you'd hope for. White is never going to be a shut down corner, Toon is never going to be a #1 receiver at this rate, Hicks is becoming a disappointment, and who knows what Jenkins is. Stills is hampered by his quad still I bet as well.

We got issues and the lack of OL/DL play is gonna get us killed.

1)0 interceptions
2)5 sacks
3)-6 turnover ratio
= 1-3 record
If you lose the turnover battle in this league your viewing the Super bowl from the stands.
