Everyone knows about Barnett and Thomas.

But what about this guy? He was inconsistent at Michigan but at 6'6 270 he's built for the NFL.

Seems like he could be a reach at 11, but could he be a guy the Saints get in the 2nd round?

I just felt like with what Payton said about the defensive line depth in the draft that the Saints might wait and go DE in the second round, opting for a Deion Jones, Lavonte David, Luke Kuechly LB in the 1st round

He's got worlds of potential. Getting the most out of him every single Sunday will give a team a perennial Pro-Bowler.

Sooner we hire a DL coach the better.

Cunningham is going to shoot up the draft IMHO. He might be able to be had with where we sit. I honestly think the upper echelon such as Barnett, Thomas, and Garrett will be gone when we pick. The draft is just not great in terms of wr/qb/OT so I don't think a lot of those teams will reach.

I really think Cunningham or Foster will be there. I think they can come in right away and be impact players.

The Saints could grab a DE in the second round then. It's a deep class

If Byron Bell ever lines up against him, I'll want a free Chalupa from TB.

At this point, is take Cunningham or Foster in the first and somebody like Demarcus Walker, Tanoh Kpassagnon, Takkarist McKinley or Saloman Thomas in the second. I'm leery of Taco. Just because he didn't do much his junior season and he played opposite of Wormley who took a lot of the attention for the Wolverines.

Cunningham would be a huge reach at 11. Hopefully Foster is there. I personally don't see huge separation betweeen Cunningham and Duke Riley, who we could likely get in the 3rd.

What about Demarcus Walker out of FSU in the 2nd round. I really like his athleticism at the position

I like Foster, but is he another Anthony when it comes to learning a true NFL scheme? The word out is Foster's mental abilities may be a liability. With Cunningham having pro bowl level talent and going to Vandy, I'd go with Cunningham if deciding between the two.

I'd love that pick in the 2nd, but I have a feeling he may sneak his way into the bottom of the first or be one of the first guys gone on the 2nd day.

I'd be concerned with a formation having Taco and Bell trying to stop the runs

I could honestly see the Saints trying to get ahead of Cincy to take Foster, if that's where they go. They might go edge rusher too.

But yes I like Walker too. I think he will make it to Day 2, but I don't expect him to come in right away and be a starter. That's why I think the Saints need a solid pass rusher (not great) for Walker to sit behind in Charles Johnson. He's old but can still play.

I never say never in the NFL. I agree that I could not take him at 11 especially if Barnett is on the board.

If he is still there in the 2nd which could happen I would definitely take him. If the Saints could trade down to say #19 then I would take him there.

This may be one of those drafts where you really wish your GM trades back from 11 to acquire more Top 100 pick ammo. Of course, we know Loomis is not that GM.

I wouldn't mind a trade down to acquire more picks and then use said picks to potentially get 2 first round picks.

Taco Charlton and Zach Cunningham in the back half of the draft would be nice. But we have never done that.
