Usually at this time, we can pretty much write out the 53 man roster. We know the stars on both sides of the ball, who's starting, and maybe have a little excitement to see one or two new players (rook/fa). It hasn't been since 2006 that we've seen so much roster turnover. We will be fielding a completely different saints team with a new mindset. Yeah we will still see that high powered aggressive offense we are used to, but just a bit "different" with a lot of new faces.

I can only get excited watching some of the youth being injected into this roster develop and find their place on the team. It was fun watching Jimmy turn into a superstar and I expect we will create a few more. Also some new vets to be excited about as well and see how they all come together.

There are a lot of guys fighting to not just make the team, but actually vie for starting roles on this roster. Should make for an exciting preseason to really get our first glance at some of our younger roster finally getting that shot to be called up to the 53.

I know tldr, stfu, etc......

even making the 53 isn't the only real battles that matter. Making that PS that first year is usually a big step for a lot of these udfa guys.

With you on that. I'm gonna be watching all the rookies, the G spots, the WR's, and the front 7 like a hawk for these games.

I'm just praying we stay healthy throughout the pre-season. I am also hoping to see some of Kyle Prater tonight, don't know whether or not he's inactive but I truly feel he's going to become something special.

It just seems like we are too deep with WR talent. Any one of those guys is capable of playing a role. Good problem to have I guess.

I believe Tull is still on the NFI list. He may be headed to IR this year.
