Chicago Bears clone. We're struggling to get 5 yards

49ers are pretty good, especially in passing situations.

This o-line ain't the problem. You can't expect them to protect this way after Brees buried the team

San Fran is a great pass rush, but we gave up far too much pressure on the left and up the gut.

We didn't even know who was blitzing at times, had guys unaccounted for.

They dominated us the entire 2nd half, they pushed our shite in big time.

The one sack by Brooks in the 4th, I hope Spags takes note. They had Brooks block Grubbs for J. Smith, then he released his block and helped sack Brees. I'm bitter about the loss, the refs and what not, but that was a nice design.

Yet Bushrod and the left side were the ones getting consistently beat.

what? You expect the line to give up on Brees after throwing a couple of picks?

Nothing new there. Justin Smith runs stunts better than anyone in the league. Guy eats up a blocker and either allows his teammate to rush inside uncontested or he spins back to the inside himself.

I'm glad you noticed. Most of the mouth-breathers on this board think it's easy to play a perfect game at QB with 300 pound elite pass-rushers in your face without so much as a "1 Mississippi"

Same story last year. Did people forget that game already? They can't block those guys.

They look like world beaters vs the rest of the league, though.
