I think the only piece left that would take this offence to the next level, is a Jason witten type tight end that just gets open in the center of the field. Thomas is a great possession receiver outside the hashes and slightly in. Coleman is mostly the same and tommy can stretch the field. I think snead will help in this area out of the slot, but having a guy on the line that can eat up that 10 to 15 yard area over the middle would be the tipping point.

Honestly I think Fleener has stepped up as that. He's made some great catches this year.

Honestly, I think after we get Snead back this offense is pretty damn complete except for the temporary O-line shuffle. Once Armstead comes back and we have Ram/Strief at RT the O-line will be up to full strength.

I also don't really think the offense misses Cooks. Ginn has done fine this year with the deep ball and once Snead comes back Brees isn't lacking for targets to throw to at all.

I think when we get armstead back our oline becomes a differnt beast. And snead will Definetly help but my point is just a dynamic te that can block and tear up the middle of the field is a scary thing. I think it really helps open the running game

This. Watch what happens when he is injected back into this offense. And Armstead back too?

Last 2 games vs 2 solid defenses:
Ingram: 28 carries, 101 yards, 3.61 YPC
Kamara: 7 carries, 62 yards, 8.86 YPC
Peterson: 13 carries, 37 yards, 2.85 YPC

Miami: allows 3.1 YPC
Carolina: allows 4.2 YPC

that's without our best LT and no #2 WR

I like Fleener's role. He's throwing some solid blocks and catching passes here and there. It's way more than I expected from him coming into the season.

I think Fleener will be fine in that roll and once Snead is back we will see much better 3rd down efficiency. I think some have underestimated how big not having Snead the first 4 games has been. He was a couple yards shy of 1000 last year and that was almost all out of the slot. We get that production back and it opens it up much more for Fleener or really anyone else to also produce.

Ram has been more important, than Cooks has been missed.

sure, not disagreeing. but that vertical cooks big play is still missing from our passing game. i think that lack of presence is helping teams key in a bit closer to the LOS.

Will not see 2 plays a game on the offense once Snead is back. Snead will eat up the touches Lewis and Coleman we're getting.

I think we have all the pieces that we need on offense. They just all need to get healthy & stay healthy.

I'm kind of with Chad, I think we need someone speedy who can draw coverage deep. Ginn is that, but he is old and Lewis is too raw/not quite talented enough to do that full time.

Unfortunately from what I know of next year's WR class I don't think there are any super blazing fast guys that we could snag in the 3rd-4th.
