Awesome. This type of stuff is the main reason I frequent this board. Seriously great work ...

re: Mark Ingram Overratted?

Ingram is one of the better backs in the league but the most overlooked part of his game is how he comes out of the backfield. This offense is at it's absolute peak when he and Kamara are able to balance both of their games in the run and pass. When one is killing it on the ground the other can put ...

re: Saints Rushing Defense

I do not think our rush defense is a fluke by any means but I also think the stats are a little skewed. The main reason is a lot of times defenses will end up giving up more yards towards the end of games on the ground and simply put no one is trying to run the ball on us in the 4th quarter. I still...
Was talking about this during the game to some friends. Hendrickson and Okafor have been playing well but Davenport is a freak who can really get after the QB. With the emergence of an interior pass rush I really look for this defense to hit it's stride closing out the year with Davenport back in ro...
I know the downvotes are coming so just bear with me for a minute or 2. Crawley did pretty well last year for a #2 cb. He limited the big plays on him, was one of the better red zone corners in the league, and wasn't a huge liability in coverage throughout the year. The regression we've seen in ...
They don't "stop" the run. The offense scores so many points so quickly that opposing offenses are forced to pass in order to play catch up.
Well considering our defense has the lowest yards per carry in the NFL I'd say yes we in fact do stop the run...
Does anyone else seem to think it’s scheme? We’re playing the run and only blitzing 3, 4 max, on passing downs. Would love to see what percentage of passing downs we’ve blitzed on the year, and how affective teams have been when we do blitz.
This is it right here. Saints are rus...
I came into this season thinking our defense would be better but I really doubt they can play at the level they did last year. There are just too many damn good offenses on our schedule. Now to Williams I think he has done better the last few weeks but also think there was a huge issue of communicat...

Secondary Communcation

Posted by Dyslectic Anorexic on 10/1/18 at 2:05 pm
Just wanted to get some thoughts on this because I haven't seen much talk about it. Obviously the secondary had a pretty bad start to the season but looked much better this past Sunday. Our corners have been flat out burnt on man to man plays obviously but something I had noticed the first few games...
I'm not sure what you're expecting of him. I mean jesus do you expect the kid to go out there and be Khalil Mack from the start? He probably had the best game out of the rest of our Dline. He looked good for his first start and had some minor mistakes that are easily correctable. Take your arse back ...
I think there will be a healthy mix of running and passing for the first 4 games. Maybe a little more pass happy in the Atlanta game but I do somewhat have that fear as well. Prime example of this was the redskins game last year. Even though they couldn't stop the run game we still went pass heavy a...
Gates don't just malfunction and slam close on vehicles. They have built in pressure sensors to reverse when hitting something and other safety devices that prevent the gate from closing on vehicles. Also if he is talking about the photo eye malfunctioning I call bullshite especially if this is a 201...
Hustler Raptor all day. Had it for 3-4 years and it still runs and cuts great. Takes about 35-40 minutes to cut an acre. Hell the thing was even fully submerged after the flood. Drained it, run new oil thru it a few times and it still runs great. Damn well made mowers ...
Obviously the key is him staying healthy which is a big question mark but to me there's no doubt he has great upside and can really help this defense. He moved well in pass coverage and was very good sideline to sideline in run support which is something we have sorely missed for a while. This defen...
I don't post much here but I came out from lurking just to say you're an idiot and should stop posting. That is all...
I know for a fact he was not coming here. He didn't want to stay in Louisiana and chose the Cowboys bc of their already fairly complete line....

re: Are we done in FA?

I really think this offense will hit the next level if we get Jordan Matthews. He had 3 straight seasons of no less than 800 yards most of which was in the slot when he was in Philly. Some injuries and a bad offense in Buffalo held him back last year but I really think he would shine here....
Jordan Matthews would seem like the ideal WR we would target. He has some injury history but not overwhelming enough to not sign him imo. He was a beast in the slot for Philly for 3 years and exactly what this offense needs. Plus he's bigger and faster than Snead so he seems like the better option i...
Not freaking out but definitely disappointed. Defense played well enough in the 3rd to easily get us ahead in the game but the offense went totally cold again and couldn't get the run game going besides that long run from Kamara. In a game where you're missing some of your most important defensive p...
The coaching has been money since week 3. With that said, what happened yesterday? We have the best running tandem, maybe one of the best of all time by years end, yet they had only 16 rushing attempts going into OT
I thought this throughout most of the game. I understand we wanted...
