I think Matt Ryan had like 160 something yards and a TD. You guys weren't doing a lot on offense, and you know damn well your defense isn't that good. Everyone has bad games, and you caught Brees on one of his worst.

But that's the second time in a week I respond to a Falcon fan who was talking about the past and then tried saying the past doesn't matter. So why are you talking about it if it doesn't matter?
It's just like EVERYONE who talks about the Saints D(media, Falcons fans, and Saints fans, along with whoever else).
Our D will be nothing like last year. There is a ton of roster turnover(6 new defensive starters and 5 new backups that will see major minutes) and a return to a similar scheme that saw us go 13-3(w/Super Bowl win; 20th in points given up; 2nd in takeaways), 11-5(7th in points given up; tied for 20th in takeaways), and 13-3(13th in points given up; 31st in takeaways).
And this scheme appears to be more fundamentally sound than Williams was, especially the run d and not doing kamikaze blitzes at the worst moments(9ers playoff game being a prime example).
Not to mention we did not even have the worst D of all time unless you are one of those stupid fricks that thinks yards are more important than points. We didn't even finish last in that, the Titans did.
Fact is we are going to put an arse whooping on the Falcons and keep it rolling from there. I don't care who doesn't believe because they will when all is said and done.

Matt ryan's highest single season passer rating is ranked #63 all time at 99.1 while drew holds #8 (110.6) and #10 (109.6). I don't understand how people are saying Ryan is better

Peyton was stewing all off season after the playoff boot by the Ravens. Think Brees is anything like that thinking about the 5 pick-record ending-playoff elimination game vs. the dirty birds?
