I don't know about that. Inheriting a vagabond team with no history of success, in a rebuilding city, and bringing them one game from the Superbowl, then winning the Superbowl 4 years later is pretty much as good as it gets.

Mora had a great defense and a pretty good offense aside from QB

Even with Hebert he should have won at least one playoff game

Screw Aaron Brooks.

I used to go to Cannons every Thursday night with my family and eat dinner at the bar. He was in there every Thursday sitting at the bar drinking Heinekens. He would down between 6 and 8 while we were there and would always stay after us and continue drinking. All this and we would have a game on Sunday on the dome.

Theres alot of answers I agree with on here.
Sammy Knight
Eric Martin
Jim Mora
Quinn Early
Im gonna add Stan Brock(one of the best OL we have ever had)
And I really like the Scott Shanle pick, he has done alot for this team and every year the head hunters want him replaced

I'm going with Willie Roaf. Arguably the best left tackle of all time, and easily in the top 5.

Brooks is underappreciated; he did QB the first playoff win in team history. Haslett also deserves more credit than he gets.

And Hoby Brenner was good for a long time.

Van Jakes played Safety behind the Dome Patrol LBs and in his 2 seasons as a starter had 6 INTs and a Fumble Recovery (no tackle data available... but I remember he liked to hit like the big boys).

Traded him when we got Robert Massey (who had a standout rookie season before getting injured, traded to the Cardinals and going to the Pro Bowl).

Wayne Martin is a good choice.

Sammy Knight was well regarded throughout the league as memory serves. He wasn't really underrated.

Freddie Thomas was, by far, the best CB we had on the team for a number of years.

Aaron Brooks is a good choice also, the way his career ended made people forget how much fun he was in his early years.

Quinn Early is a good one. I go with V Johnson. He was a beast and kinda got lost behind the other great LB's we had.

Fred Thomas was better than he gets credit for. He played solidly for years. Now he was far from great his last few years, but the horrendous safety play didn't help matters.

Anyway, I'll say Eric Martin cause he was a balla and you hardly ever hear about him. I think Dalton Hilliard is somewhat unappreciated too.

the obvious answer is Aaron Brooks

Are you fricking high? Stats don't mean shite. He wasn't a leader, and cost our Franchise many more games than he won because he simply quit after getting his paycheck. He smiled all of the time because he was a clueless as the day is long. He should've been benched after his first full season.

has to be brooks...i think the one thing that gave him a bad rep more than anything else was how he never seemed to care whenever he threw a pick (or the ball backward) or lost a game. he was definitely fun to watch though.

Before you decide to procreate, we would appreciate it if you neutered yourself.

Surely, that crap about Aaron Brooks was a joke.
I'm sure you think the same about JaMarcus Russell. HAHA
