Outside of the Armstead, Unger, Strief, and Peat group, the rest of the OL looked bad. Harris was awful as he is wont to do. Evans looked bad again. He'll probably be an NFL Hall of Famer, but he looks done.

The overreaction on this thread is great

How is any of that an overreaction? Evans has been in a steadily declining the last two years now. Father time is undefeated. Lelito couldn’t beat out a washed up Goodwin at center last training camp. Both were responsible tonight for the pressures McCown faced in his turn at QB tonight.

I specifically watched both of them & what I saw wasn't pretty. Neither were effective in the ground game either. It's not hard to see Bryce Harris getting his arse beaten constantly either. That's been a consistent of his since he's been a Saint.

Nobody is saying the season is going to be waste if that's what you hinting at. Those threads & post are for the tards who disappear all offseason then show up to spew stupidity when there's a game. You are kidding yourself if you don't see that our guards will be a liability though.

Yeah, I want to watch it again as well. There are always things you miss out on watching live.

This was just preseason which means no game plan is involved. Wait until the regular season & teams start specifically game planning to exploit those two.

The Saints o-line will be fine bro, one game doesn't make a season especially tonight

I think people really don't appreciate what Kromer did for this OL. His Interior OL are always strengths and it is no surprise that as soon as he leaves, the guards and center position go to crap.

Hell, DLP even looked pretty damn good under him and then fell off a map the next season.

Ingalls seems to be better at coaching the OT's, which I'll give him credit for, but even Grubbs (also a pro-bowl caliber guard) looked like utter crap while with the Saints. That happens for a reason.

The interior was bad last year and we've upgraded one of those three positions.

And definitely downgraded another one (Grubbs for Lelito)

Grubbs was basically average last year.

Evans was bad.

Oh and you didn't mention Marcus Murphy in your OP. He's going to bust a kick off or two in the preseason. His versatility is his biggest asset. He showed quickness on his TD run.

My take (Disclaimer, I did not watch the 4th quarter yet):

-Unger, he alread shows the most heart and motor on this line...He had a block down field on Cooks' screen for TD, and on our first 1st down to Josh Morgan when Morgan got stood up by a few DB's trying to tackle him Unger came flying in downfield and pushed the piled for another yard or two....I played OL in high school and that is something we were always taught to do and I always look for but not many players do it....Also for only being 29 and from Hawaii, he sure looks about 45 and from Jeanerrette LOL
-Khiry did indeed look like a stud
-RG4 looked poised and confident, made some good throws...I want to see him ahead of McCown next week...Though he needs to hold the ball lower until he is ready to make the throw...He holds it very high making it susceptible for a DE/OLB coming around his blind side to swipe it away
-Browner/Lewis/Breaux/SJB all looked pretty good......From what I recall I think that group only allowed 1 catch for 4 yards by Smith....SJB I don't even recall having a pass thrown his way???...If that is the case, then that is definitely a plus for him
-Evans had a rough go of it against the ones, he got better but that was only when playing against the 2's
-I know we don't game plan, but run D still got plenty room for improvement
-Joe Morgan played mostly against the 2's and 3's, and he only had I think 3 catches for 17 yards but he just looked like he was 2 steps faster than them....Hope to see him get time with the 1's next week
