Shreveport Fox probably chose to go up against the CBS dog shite early games because it's better than going head-to-head with the Steelers in the late game. Especially since the 49ers are winless and that game could get ugly early.

Can't feel sorry for them. For years The Fox affiliate would pick Cowboys over Saints. When they put it to a vote, Saints won most of the time.
Yet they got away from that, mainly because the station manager is a Cowboys hack.
It has sucked recently since Dak Prescott is from the area. It has ticked me off when some of the retail stores last year were selling (Who Dak ?) T-shirts. I quit shopping those places, because of that.
