Neither do I, honestly.

If he was an OL, then I'd feel way differently.

I honestly think we're fine at corner unless there's a better, young, healthier prospect.

Joe Haden isn't going to save us if we're decimated by injury again. Hell, he could be one of the injured too.

It works the other way too. He has no incentive to play for less than $4 mil as he can sit home and make that.

Except he needs to play because he wants to continue his career. Taking a year off of football after two poor/injured seasons would severely cap his potential future earnings.

It's not like a Revis situation when he was on the edge of retirement as it is

For the record, I'm told #Cowboys made their call on Joe Haden. They heard about #Steelers strong interest too.

Some more stats, PFF graded him the 88th best CB last season, which is like at the bottom.

2016 PFF Grades
Overall 46.0 #88 CB

I'm not saying I don't want to sign him but, I hope we don't do anything stupid to get him

I'm just saying he has been going up against Antonio Brown and Aj Green without a pass rush or any other talent on that team

Which, if you count nickels as starters, is near the bottom of starting quality corners.

he'd be going up vs julio and evans here

Browns: 31st YPG, 30th PPG, 30th Sacks, 23rd INTs, 30th FFs
Saints: 27th YPG, 31st PPG, 27th Sacks, 27th INTs, 26th FFs

I mean they may be void of talent, but we're not that much better.

Unless he's cheap I rather roll with what we have

Yep and in 2015 he was rated the worst right next to NO Saints Browner.

We know how the jackass played here.

Joe Haden or Damian Swann? Hmmm

I'll take Haden until Breaux comes back. We aren't set in the secondary. If he can still play then we can use him.

Regarding CBs that are shells of themselves, I would put Breaux in that category...he has been terrible and/or injured the last two years

So Breaux is a shell of when he was playing in the CFL and AFL? He signed with us in 2015.

Go get him if the money's right. If he's not banged up, then he's probably good for another 2-year deal, at least.

I would doubt Swann is going to make the team. May be more of Harris or Moore for be the comparison.

Former Browns CB Joe Haden is going to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight, per source.

#Steelers get the first & potentially only visit from FA Joe Haden. They can make sure he never leaves (except to get his things from CLE).
