Bleacher report hints that the Saints could target Bucs DE Adrain Clayborn, Lions DT Nick Fairley, and Chargers CB Brandon Flowers in free agency

Fairley seems to always be hurt. I'd certainly welcome Flowers and Clayborn.

Depends. Nice dozen of roses will set you back around $70.

How? The Saints are $23 million over the cap next season.

Projection only man.
We are OK cap wise and don't listen to sports guys about it. They are lazy.

A couple of cuts and restructures/extensions and we will be well under.

This needs a sticky. Bonethug broke it down in a thread.

Saints are very lucky they have no big FAs to sign this offseason. That will allow us to make moves in FA. I'm not giving up on this team yet to totally need a rebuild. I think this season just needs to be thrown out the door. shite happens. A few moves in FA and a good draft will bring us right back to SB contention.

I think Fairley was born with braces on his knees.

I'm happy with any of the three at the right price. Fairly is always hurt, but he has loads of potential. Clayborn was a highly coveted player on draft day by this board (me included) and may do well with a change of scenery.

Flowers is a legit CB. He isn't all pro, but he can hold up his own

I'd take Flowers in a heart beat. Would solidify the #2 spot

Yeah he is a solid corner. I'd definitely want him. He's is one of the top FA corners though, so whoever signs him will likely over pay.

I was also really impressed with how P-Rob finished up this year. I think he has finally turned the corner.

Didn't Flowers start to really struggle when the Chiefs switched DC's and started to run more man to man?

Could get him really cheap with his medical history and add depth. Bring it.

Correct. He did play well in San Diego when Verrett went down though. I just dont like the age factor. Mike iupati is someone we should throw some money at.

biggest FA in the next two offseasons are Mark Ingram and Cameron Jordan. Well you know and the QB, but that isn't my worry.
