I was told Saints fans were the nicest in the league. Guess not.

I'll give them this year then I'll choose whether I'll stay a fan of them or move to the Broncos or 49ers

feel free to move on Bandwagon, you would fit right in with all the new Seahawk fans

neither Ingram or Graham proved themselves able to reach down and get was needed from themselves to get the job done

is factually correct

how?

Seattle Game numbers:
Ingram - 10 rushes for 49 yards. 1 was a 12 yarder. So thats 9 for 37 and a very costly lost fumble.

Jimmy Graham was target second most on the team with 6 targets. he caught 1 pass the whole game for 8 yards.

Thus the statement:
quote:

neither Ingram or Graham proved themselves able to reach down and get was needed from themselves to get the job done in the big game

is factually correct. I dont know how you can argue against that

That's still almost 5 yards per carry.

I'm not getting into this stupid argument. I like Ingram. I want him on the team. In the 4 games of 2013 where he got more than 10 carries he did very well. Averaging 10.4, 6.4, 5.4, and 4.9 yrds per carry. 2 tds and 1 fumble.

Wow this thread made it 5 pages...

You know he averaged almost 5 yards per carry last season, and I believe over 5 in the playoffs, right? You know that, or are you blinded by the university he represents?

I do agree that at the end of the year, Ingram seemed to come around especially when Sproles or Thomas wasn't dinged up. It always seems like there is a designated amount of forced screen plays when they are healthy. Last year, we seemed to do better with the power run game up the middle the last few games of the season. HOWEVER, Ingram's drive killing drop of a screen pass and fumbling on our first 2 offensive possessions respectively during the Seahawks game was inexcusable and totally killed the game. Therefore, my official position is that he should be taken out back and beaten to death with a pillow case full of used vibrators.

I don't even know what to say....most of Brees' big games were 200 yarders if not for his 60 yard TD pass??

9 for 37....turrible???

...the fumble sucked. sure...but it was the second of his career.

quote:

Jimmy Graham was target second most on the team with 6 targets. he caught 1 pass the whole game for 8 yards.

He had a bad game...He had an incredible season....we'll keep ignoring the Hawks great D that shut many players down.

...what is "getting the job done"?...winning?...putting up big numbers?

would 11 rec. for 150 yards and 2 TDs along with a Saints loss be "getting the job done"?

would 2 rec. for 19 yards and a Saints win be "getting the job done"?

I don't understand you.

...your basic misunderstanding of the word "fact" is perplexing.

Yes you are correct, poorly worded -

Simply I mean neither player had what it took within themselves to provided the big play(s) they both were counted on to bring to the game. In Ingram's case his mistakes were disasterous, Graham may as well have not been there at all.

Now we are talking big money, for what more of the same, just don't see it. Like I said earlier Graham is more of a bully, when he is the big guy on the field he can put balls over the goal post but when he is equally matched he can't.

Finally it is done, we will see them next year and we can all see for ourselves how the year goes, for me I already got my answers and I don't need a do over to see it again.

You know he is the main reason we lost to Seattle right?

I like the fact that his yards per carry stat jumped up last year. I hate the fact that he came up very small in big moments against Seattle.

That dropped pass and the fumble contributed greatly to the loss.

I'm done with Ingram, and, it has nothing to do with his school days. It has everything to do with his pro career performance, which is unacceptable.
