No it didn't.

It's already been discussed, see thrillos post below for reference

Saves them zero in cap space and he gets $3 million more

Should he? Yes.

Will he? Nope. He's not that kind of person.

It saves $24 mil cash bro, not cap space bro. It saves $0 in cap space bro. The restructure actually gets him more money bro and let's Kraft have $24 mil real dollars to give other players bro.

Brady will still get every penny of that $24 mil bro, just not at the start of the year bro.

Posts like these are why I'm not ready to post my season long PFF stats.

The board is still infested.

His base salary for the next 3 years are 8, 9, and 10 million. That seems awfully low

That was from a previous restructuring and it was in exchange for being fully guaranteed. It helped but it also helped him.

Brady did sign a team friendly deal a while back. But that's easy for him because his wife makes tens of millions of dollars. Brees is his family's entire income. I think brees will restructure at some point though. He hasn't really needed to up until this point because loomis seems to pull cap space out of his arse to sign guys they want.

No.

Saints need to cut loose or restructure Colston, Graham, Strief and the two overpaid, under-performing guards.

Plus Byrd.

Also, how about a decent draft.

Well we absolutely should extend and restructure Brees this offseason.

Brady is literally getting praised for getting a raise today though

Thxs for the link

Is there a possibility Brees could do something similar?

Can you read? From the link

quote:

Under the new contract, the Patriots will free up $24 million in cash flow. It does not impact the Patriots' salary cap situation.

Why would you want Brees to take a pay increase?

He is every bit more a good guy than Tom Brady. So not sure what you mean by that kind of person. Brady is going to get MORE money..
