SI Mock 3.0 has Mingo to the Saints and Jones at #20

I'm a big LSU guy and love me some Mingo, but I would be pissed if the Saints take Mingo over Jones.

I wouldn't be upset at Mingo...shite, either for that matter.
However, how they continue to put Te'o in the top 25 is beyond me. I like Minter way more for the first ILB taken.
If Minter gets to 32, Baltimore will sprint to the podium to take him.

Read the post brother, I like Mingo a lot. BUT if both are sitting there at #15 and we take Mingo instead of Jones, I would be pissed.

My gut says Jones. But I'm no scout.
Its a coin toss to me. I won't be mad with Mingo, even if Jones is there, or vice versa.

I have a feeling Jones is going to be an immediate impact guy. I think Mingo will take a little longer, maybe half a season, maybe a full season.
I shouldn't say "pissed" cause I really do like Mingo. But if somehow (and I don't think it will) Jones falls to #15, I would hope the Saints pull the trigger on him the second they are on the clock.

Mingo has all the athletic talent and more that you want from the olb rushing position, but jones is as close to a proven big time playmaker that can be found in the draft. I would go with jones, but I'm glad that it isn't my decision to make. Btw I think that this mock is garbage

Well, I think Jones will be off the board within the first 10 picks.
If he and Mingo are there at 15, there's not a doubt in my mind who they pick,Jones!
The Saints have never given LSU players preferential treatment in the draft...nor should they.

Love mingo, and he woudl sell a lot of jerseys, but i think Jones is jsut better. He has an it factor. He is just a killer
