I have to admit, for the most part you've made valid points and maintained a fairly even keel. Maybe it's the influx of knee-jerk reactions and terrible thoughts and threads from everyone else, but you are definitely no longer the worst around here

Point is they should have hired an interim Head coach. They had the funds, they need the extra hand to handle additional duties

...No. Bailing on the coach who made you a competitor over something this contested and up in the air is how franchises are ruined. No one wants to coach for a franchise who'll just turn on you at the first bad situation, even if you brought them a Super Bowl two years before and have been a consistent winner.

ok. I think we can all agree on that. I wasn't ever into the 3 different coaches in 16 game deal anyway

it would have been interesting to see Parcells reaction to that laying of the turds this past sunday

that's what i have always done.... the thing is, is that if my "even keel" statement doesn't jive with what the masses want to read/hear, it's discarded as "negative".... that's why i've been unfairly pegged as a bad poster, but all i've ever and will ever do is call it like i see it.... bad or good.... now, as to whether at the time i say whatever i say, whether it will be taken well or not, that depends...

i realize that sometimes the things i say will be taken either out of context or given the implicit "negative" undertone, even if that was not my intent.... i only try to be realistic with my post, and sometimes that not going to be "positive", and sometimes that won't be "negative"... all i ask for is some understanding, as i try to extend the same gratuity to each and every single one of you...

you probably should have quit while you were ahead... for better or for worse.... it's all good though.... i realize sometimes you interject longer "heartfelt" sentences followed by.... a cool quip... but i'm just a cool dude that you could have a beer with... i mean you could have quit while you were ahead... but i know you like to type in circles for no reason... but whether or not you might have intended to begin typing in circles, it just depends on the meaning of your original undertones.... Ellipses are cool

FWIW, IMHO you actually are not the shittiest poster on the board anymore. Congrats on that.

Call me crazy, it doesn't matter because I have like 4 posts, but I am not willing to be money that Payton's suspension stands. It wouldn't surprise me if we see him back week 9 or so.

4 posts.

except you would basically only post immediately after a loss, rarely, if ever, bringing up any good

I've never had a problem with the actual content. It was just repetitive and got annoying

The saints got cheap.

They didnt need to fir Payton, but they should have hired a legitimate Head Coach for this season. There is a reason teams do well under good head coaches, and poorly under others.

Saban has proved that coaches are not just figureheads. Look at arkansas. Pros are no different.

After 1 game you already gave up on our team and coaching staff. Calm down man there's a lot of season left to play.

It took Nick Saban to prove to you that a good coach can impact a team?
Also, the pros are very different than the NCAA. Look at Sabans career in Miami.
