I mean really are there that many unrealistic knowledgable fans out there? Between LSU and the saints...if we don't play perfect then everyone gets but hurt. Reality is reality and sometimes it's hard to face but please don't always post your feelings. Think about how it sounds before you post. Man up!!!

Is it really that bad to not be happy about giving up 2 90 yard drives with 2 point coversions and ridiculous penalties. its kind of impressive the series events that happened. Glad we won but sheesh.

Its pretty much how the whole season has gone in every game. We make big plays only to be able to shite the bed on the other side of the ball.

In short, yea, we have arguably the most fickle fans in the country.

Extremely passionate fans, which is great, but they think too much with emotion instead of logic.

The Saints should be better than 5-7. That's pretty clear. So yea they've underachieved.

With les miles nothing is surprising, but LSU should be better

Nobody is blaming the players, but the defensive strategy of playing not to lose is a contradiction in itself and more importantly demonstrates a lack of confidence for your players and team

Of course. They are much better than a 5-7 team, and we have every right to be mad and disappointed about that. Throwing a fit like a pussy after a win today is absurd to me, especially considering the circumstances. Yea, the defense gave up points at the end, and made the score look much closer than it should've been. However, it was way out of reach, and it was garbage yards and points.

Sure I am disappointed in both lsu and saints but the posts that we often see on this site are pure reduculous in my opinion. I am not just talking about today's conservative 4th qtr play but overall. More lsu than here but just saying many need to question their posts here.

Meh, then whats the point of a message board if your not free to express your opinions. Kind of what its here for. Not every fan is going to think the same for better or worse. I don't care much for the Firing of Sean Payton group, but hey they have a right to feel that way. Not going to agree with all and it would be a very dull place if you did.

Yes, there are a lot of spoiled, recently on the bandwagon "fans" in both bases right now.

There are also just some overly negative "fans" in general that will always find something to whine about. For example, someone complained about the saints final TD because we passed and didn't run enough time off the clock in their opinion. And Thursday night someone whined that we kicked a FG before half with 12 seconds left and no timeouts. There will always be something for these "fans" to complain about.

Drew Bree's got garbage yards and points at the end of the Ravens game. It's called a fricking prevent defense, it is used to run time off the clock and not give up big plays. WOULD YOU GUYS RATHER THE DEFENSE RAN AT THE END OF THE LIONS GAME. be happy we won and are still tied with The Falcons.

Forgive the fans for demanding a better performance than the slop the Saints defense seems to display every week. How dare they make such demands?

This wasn't one of those weeks. Saints played great today on both sides of the ball.

We had a 2 score lead and gave them the ball back with 1 minute to go and zero timeouts.

Meh, he took them apart all game. We had 400 yards going into the 4th and 50 yards per drive. He was pretty sensational.

Exactly. We didn't have a 3 score lead in that game, played aggressively, and led them right back into the game.

Retarded! This was the Saints team I expected from the beginning of the year. The O, D and special teams all played well
The defense and offense played exactly as they should have last 5 mins of game. Eat clock and don't give up the big play
If you as a fan can't be happy with this win, you have issues.

I'm amazed about the amount of people bitching about the garbage time scores. It has to be th entitled bandwagon element that's seeped into the saints fan base. Kinda sad. As a lifetime fan I barely flinched at the last 6 mins of the game, it was meaningless

No one has a problem with garbage time scores in general. But stupid penalties when you're playing prevent D, Corey White and Vaccaro, are bad tendencies that keep appearing and we need to cut that shite out. Not to mention the atrocious tackling. Yea the plan was to let Bell catch dumpoffs and let him get about 10-15 yards. He had two 30+ yard receptions bc we can't fricking tackle in the open field.

Not too mention if we don't trip him up on that last catch they have 20 seconds to recover the onside kick, throw a 20 yard pass, and spike it for a game tying FG attempt. Hardly impossible.

When you showcase the same problems that have cost you 4 games already in a season it's perfectly acceptable to be happy about the win but also be concerned about disturbing trends the team exhibits even in wins. Just like it's perfectly reasonable to be excited Lsu beat AM but still be concerned that the team can't pass

Sounds to me more like we need a linebacker and another corner to replace White and Hawthorne.

Patrick Robinson has improved as the season went on. He's "gambling" and it almost paid off today multiple times. He just needs to get his hands back, but I think he's a solid future #2 if he plays that way and we can re-sign him.
