Seattle's remaining schedule:

Saints
@San Fran
@Giants
Cards
Rams

that actually looks quite difficult as things are turning out

SF will be desperate for a WC spot

Giants were rolling up to today... they'll be a tough out... esp. w/ SEA having to travel

Cards and Rams have both been playing well lately

in fact... it was the Rams close call loss to SEA in their dome that may have gotten the Rams on track

Have any information about it? I've never been to Washington.

The Olympic Peninsula is awesome. Cool beaches, rain forests, snow peaks, everything is there.

I've always wanted to visit, and figure it would be pretty cool to just live/work there for the summer. Any recommendations, how to go about getting a job there, etc?

They hire a ton of volunteers for the summer. I don't think they hire too many paid jobs though. I was a volunteer. They gave me a place to live and gave me a stipend every month that would essentially cover my food.

Honestly, I would just try going on their website and look for a volunteer section and just start contacting people there.

Do you have anything specific you want to do or just get away for the summer?

Basically this.

Should I just try to find a job elsewhere?

it would only be for a couple of months, so I inured a national park would be the best bet. See the area, and have something to do.

I'm trollin', having to work indoors from 8-5 everyday while the weather outside is nice is depressing.

Seattle is definitely a nice city. I still prefer New Orleans' night life though.

Seattle has it's charms, but beware the rest of the sound is the white trash epicenter of the earth

If you just want to get away and don't care about earning money, I would recommend it. I mean, they give you a place to stay and give you some food money. So you'll basically break even for the summer while living in a new place. If you're not picky about what you want to do, I'd imagine that you wouldn't have any problems finding a volunteer job.

Read "scouting report" on Lane. Started off saying he is "tall". Since when is 5'11 tall? Wonder how accurate the rest of the article is?

This will hurt, but I don't think it's that huge of a deal. The Hawks still have Sherman, probably the best safeties in the NFL, and elite pass rushers.
losing your 2 starting CBs the week you play against the leading passer in the NFL will hurt.

What happened to Richard Sherman?

And when are the hawks playing the Broncos?

I was all revved up about this until reading...

Seattle also had to play without Browner and Thurmond for the final four games of the 2012 season. Thurmond was on injured reserve after a hamstring injury, and Browner was suspended for four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs. The team went 4-0 in those games and gave up just 43 points combined.

So essentially Seattle is down to Sherman?

Damn big hits for them before their biggest game of the year.

The only time you come close to playing teams at their best is like the first or second game of the year. Everyone is dealing with injuries of some type. If injuries is the excuse after the game, they're just being little girls.

The NFL is about wins and losses. I could give two shits about that.
