How have they not handled this by now? When the saints were great it was because of their great offenses. Since 2011, saints have continued to rack up a lot of yards, but the offense goes stagnant for 2 quarters in every big game. They are not as efficient. love what we did with signing Warford. But after cutting cooks it's time to add a 3rd down back and TE (we don't have one). I'm not so sure a rookie RB is up to the task of playing Reggie bush/Darren sproles this year. Everyone wants defense defense defense like our offense is a flawless juggernaut. The truth is it has some glaring flaws in talent. Cadet should not see the field and neither should fleener. Two awful players that play significant roles and could cost us a chance at a run. Fix it Payton

2011 sproles/graham
2017 Cadet/fleener

Preach dude. I don't think I usually agree with your posts on here but this is spot on. I do think fleener will improve with another season with Brees but we need a pass catching Rb desperately if we truly want to be a championship caliber offense again. We also have dick for depth at the skill positions. I'd really like to get a udfa bruiser to be our 2nd half Rb like mike bell was( guy who is cheap and runs ultra hard).

Everyone loves offensive numbers, but our offense has been pretty consistant.

I think what you really mean to say is that the Saints were good when we had a defense that wasn't in the bottom 3rd.

With our offense--we do not have to have a Top 10 defense to win. If we can put a defense on the field that is between #11-20 we can win 10-11 ballgames. We are winning 7 games now with one ranked #31 and #32.

Nah. It hasn't been the same since Jimmy and Darren left. Especially on the road. Those are facts. Now we rack up lots of yardage in the 4th quarter pulling to within a score when the game is for the most part over.

Look at our losses last year. Some of them were completely on the offense. TB, NYG, KC, Detroit....
