Where can I find some highlights of that game fellas? I remember a bad call or two late in that cold arse game. I tried Google and YouTube and can't find nothing other than from seats of fans at the game

We didn't make the playoffs in 2008

And we didn't go to the super bowl in 2007

Like most of our other playoff losses we turned the ball over way too much.

usually just look up the Reggie 88 yard TD for that game.

was still a fun year.

We were battling uphill but it was 18-14 going into the 4th.

Carney fumble was a absolute killer. fricking P Thomas fumble against SF in playoffs was a killer as well. That would have been a blow to the head in today's league. Pierre fumbled near the goal line and was done for the rest of the game.

Actually I'm not sure anymore. They only really called that when the whole news about the head trauma was a major focus. There were a bunch of calls like that last year and the year before that should have been called but weren't. Referees are just an instrument of the commissioner, he uses them to play politics like the President uses any other Federal agency.

Tough game. Those white jerseys in cold weather is just a bad recipe. The time we lost to the browns with rob Ryan as DC was hard to watch. Constant pressure on drew and we hired rob a few years later because of that game

YouTube will have stuff. That was such a fun year. I just knew we were gonna go up there and win and keep the storybook season going, But it didn't happen. It was close for a while and I remember we missed a really long FG that swung momentum I think. Istayed up until like 3 am listening to the post game. I had a feeling we'd be back.

The bears fans at the game were fricking shitty to saints fans and it got so bad they were giving philly fans a run for their money.

frick that game. That was supposed to be our year.

If it had been in the dome, we would have won. And then went on to win the SB and been the best story in all of sports ever.

Didn't Michael Lewis (yes the Beer Man) fumble a punt in the second half also?

I remember him moving on to the 49ers the next year. He was getting old and Payton was not a fan due to that drop etc.

We had two late season losses back to back in 2007 and 2008.

I think we were 7-7 and had an outside chance of the playoffs going into the 2008 game. It was Thursday night too if I remember correctly.

That was back when Tampa 2 was Drew's kryptonite.
